Outside of patches to fix things we haven't heard much from you. I don't assume to speak for everyone but I am sure we would love to get an update from you. What are your plans for the rest of the year?

Don't assume I don't know how to deal with spamraams because I say they are skilless weapons. I just find the earlier generation of jet fighters to be far more interesting than the current 4.5 gen of fighters.

I am happy for Truegrit and Heatblur. But I agree with Lt_Jaeger. I am tired of these kids toys Eurofighter...oh look another Fox-3 spammer for the skilless pilot. Where is the Phantom II, Crusader, Su-17, high fidelity anything Russian made after 1979. Nope instead we get another plug and play flying iPad.

Unless Deka is making the F-4 Phantom II then I am also a no for other western aircraft. Perhaps the Jaguar. As it saw service all over the world. But my top five in no particular order. -SEPECAT Jaguar. - F-4 Phantom II. - J-10/F-10 Vigorous Dragon. - J-8 - Su-17. These would all be great additions and easily find a place in DCS.

They could say something in a stickied post. Plans.... Goals.. or intentions. Just a suggestion.

The PL-5 isn't bad. It is just an old missile when compared to the rest of the weapons on the JF. It is like slapping some AIM-9Ps on a F-16C.

Perhaps they could expand to some other airforces. Like the Indian Airforce. We have the Pakistani-Chinese JF-17 perhaps we can get a Indian MiG-29 or a Mirage 2000, or even the Su-30MKI?

I would be fine with that. It can at least stand in for the USMC version.

True. I have been loving the Mirage on the Syria at War server... Where they limit the tech to 1988. No spammrams, limit of 2 aim-54s for a Tomcat.

Even without the Block III version there. I can do just fine with the 7 hardpoints it has now. It's a light fighter, not a Su-27 or F-15E, people need to understand this. Still one of the best modern modules in DCS. And ED could learn from Deka and RAZBAM on the stores modeling, having g limitations is real and fun.

I believe it is 32 in real life. I run 32 on my JF also. If I need more than 32 I have been in the fight for to long. Both of which I should have been well inside the WEZ and be in gunfighting range. And with the Mirage that is really easy to achieve.

I spend probably equal amount of time in my JF and my Mirage. I love them both. The Thunder is an amazing light fighter. And well worth it.

I haven't had many issues with locking on MiG-21s with my PL-5s. It takes a bit of work but I have even forgot to uncage the seeker and still managed to lock. It is like using a AIM-9M.

I love this. And if you need more than 40 flares.. you are defensive to long. +1 for the planned feature!

That is the only way I know to get rid of the mirror.

I was about to say I haven't had an issue with the mk82SE accuracy or the BLG-66. Different employment profiles. One I dive at 30deg the other I come in low, level and fast.

So I wanted to say...I love the update. At first I was a little caught off guard because my CMD FWD, AFT, and Depress no longer worked... Had to remap them back to the hat I had them on... While in flight. That was fun. But I managed to take out a half dozen vehicles on the Hoggit Georgia at War server in my Mirage... And put the bombs pretty accurately on target with the updates to the CCIP line. Haven't really had a chance to mess with the ground avoidance radar setting yet. And yep the BAP100s work great against soft targets bunched together. And was there a change to the throttle performance? It feels a bit more responsive.

Lastly.... The Exorcet missile. The 2000 can use these. The only difference is the radar on the aircraft.

I had to use google translate because my French is non-existent. But I don't care about fox-3 missiles. They are nice but my favorite servers are fox-1 mission sets. I often put AIM-7s on my Hornet. And if you can't counter a F-14 by now something is wrong. Yes the AIM-54 is nasty but don't play their game. Force them low... Where the phoenix is not such am advantage. As for the air to ground role. The aircraft is extremely limited. Hell the MiG-21 is nearly as capable. And the MiG-29A is as capable. As for the BAP yeah those are cool but any aircraft can bomb a runway. 1 Su-27 with 24 bombs can deny a whole runway much the same in game. The F/A-18 can do it also with 500lb mk82s. To be frank. There is no match currently in DCS for anything the BlueFor have in high fidelity modules or low fidelity modules. There is one... Modern high fidelity redfor module.

The 5F can do much more than fire fox-3s. Self lase, use tpod, more hardpoints, glass cockpit, improved engine response, improved radar. And you don't need the support of the french Airforce. The Greek, UAE, Indian and several other nations use the -5F model. Which is more of a Desault F-16C Blk50 than the current 2kC. Which is more like a F-16A.

I know many of us would pay good money for the -5F option for our Mirage 2000s. What is the real reason we won't get it?

I am not talking about generalized information briefs like that. I am talking about hard facts on what their capabilities are.

There is a lot to unpack in your post. ECM is one thing ED doesn't do well no matter what side it is. They know this. But getting actual ECM data from any nation, even going back as far as 50 years is nearly impossible.
