  5. This might be interesting for you : http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=68821&page=8
  6. As far as I know, you can still obtain spare gimbals of Cougar from Thrustmaster. Another good idea is to mod the Cougar with Hall sensors or install a commercial Force Sensor unit: http://www.realsimulator.com/html/fssb.html A FSSB mod, like this interesting and cheap project, could do the job too: http://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?7047-MY-LOW-COST-FSSB!!!
  7. Good news.. and welcome ! But... please think in the results that we have seen in the pool about of the desired fidelity of the aircraft. The vast majority of DCS users are here for that reason. We do not fly FS and not fly IL2. We are interested in study simulations that we use to learn and fly in our squadrons. A low level simulation have no interest for us when we try to work with realistic procedures and realistic manuals. There will be many people trying to sell their models in this big community of DCS users, but make no mistake. 90% of the community will only be interested in aircraft of high level of complexity. So if you want to sell, try to maintain that level or will not make the business you expect. I would also like to see that third parties not only try to sell us old FS aircraft, but that they are also interested in the research and development of new scenaries and tools. About the F-18 and other models of interest (F-16, MIG-29,Su-27,33,35, Apache, etc), I sincerely hope that they are not developed by third parties but directly by DCS or at least meet the high quality standards of DCS series. This is just my opinion, excuse me for my funny english
  8. Congrats San-Seagal, that skin is looking so nice ! .....Looking forward for that DCS F-18 too
  9. I agree. Our squad is in the same situation.
  10. Take a look at this. I think the dimensions are the same except for the foot rest. http://www.saitek.com/uk/down/Saitek_proflight_CRP_dimensions.pdf Cheers
  11. Wow ! Really interesting Does the balance of the boats seem realistic?
  12. Ahh ok, understood ! Thx again
  13. Thanks EtherealN Of course I´d like to check it, but installations with or without DCSW are still compatible online ?
  14. DCS world should be installed by other modules owners (no P-51), or must we wait for an update?
  15. These are wonderful news ! DCS World... our dreams come true And also you are saved the SU25T... well done ! Congrats ED !
  16. I have a question: I understand that EDGE is a terrain engine and it has nothing to do with weather or other aspects in the sim, so are there any known plans to improve the physics or the rendering of clouds? Thx
  17. Wow, that CDU + Caution panels looks awesome ! Is there any chance to see some pics ?
  18. Here's an interesting thread where are a discuss about comparison with Outerra http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=75319&page=17 I like lights of Outerra. Anyway Ed's Nellis looks really nice. It would be very interesting to see an advance of EDGE performance and know the minimum requirements of machine. I hope this happens soon or I'll grow old waiting
  19. P-51 Front panel http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cockpit-P-51D-Mustang-FLIGHT-PANEL-P51-WWII-USAAF-US-WW2-WARBIRD-USAF-AVION-/330721033193?pt=JG_FR_Collections_Aviation&hash=item4d00827be9
  20. I'm only interested in the evolution and following modules of DCS. Flying Legends seems to be a nice series of collectors aircraft but I am not interested at the moment. If FC3 gonna be more or less a FC2 running in DCS world, I'll not buy it.
  21. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge with the community Snoopy  Cheers
  22. Good work ! Thanks a lot for sharing
  23. http://www.saitek.com/uk/down/Saitek_proflight_CRP_dimensions.pdf Cheers
  24. Without bearing in mind the jet model, the real deal with F-18's is the possible inclusion of naval operations in DCS. A map extension to the south, say Black Sea, East Mediterranean would be a good idea too... Just dreaming, lets see.. Of course my vote goes for naval operations
