Cockpit is not the one in the manual
flyingscotsman replied to flyingscotsman's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
Yep I did that and took out all MODS, but will go through it again, thanks -
I downloaded after entering my key yesterday. It was accepted, and I downloaded the module this afternoon. The body of the aircraft is ok, but the cockpit looks like a VSN copy. I attach 3 photos showing, where my installation is on the PC, my E:\ DRIVE, installation looks ok to me another shows my C:\User\username\Saved Games\DCS.OpenBeta\, I have two entries below them, DCS_AJS37 and below that DCS_F4E Where should thesse last two folders go? I the DCS_F4E in Mods, no change to cockpit I put it just in the OpenBeta folder, no change to cockpit. Any advice appreciated Thanks in advance

Hi Jonny Dioxin, I too had the same problem again with the purchase on the first day. It just hung after getting to Paypal, and waiting for payment, so I figured it was sheer number of people waving their credit cards at the same time. Gave it about 15 mins then I cut the link, just in case of scammers etc. Next morning did it again, there was a 5 minute wait, and it worked. Thanks for advice though, appreciated

HI Admiral, Thanks for the Iranian vessel, bet I'll get blasted before I can hit it, but worth a few tries. Not exactly and advert for joining the navy in that area though is it. That's quite a lot of assest that went their way. I could understand putting to sea, as part of a large patrol....more targets, some might get home. But on it's own, with the U.S. Navy and Carrier support in the area, bit if a one way trip. Nice model, thank you. -
I was card ready but once again the payment is hanging.....may have to start again tomorrow, no doubt it's a popular bird. The RAF are updating to 'block 6' is this about the same as the F model, does anyone know? Thanks in advance

Hi CH , Thanks for the reply, I'm no longer up to date on the ground bound missile lobbing fraternity, but I still have my "SPACE COMMAND" badge from 5 years with the USAAF. We watched out for the big stuff going East/West. Motto then was "Guardians of the high frontier". Now been renamed something rubbish by the previous White House occupant. Nice to know what i'm hovering over, as I learn Helo's and what I'm aiming at when I try Hellfires. Thanks for your AMAZING WORK -

Ok is this a posh mobile skip, or a lazy combat tent that's about to erect itself? Us Brits never had posh trucks when I was in, we have posh trucks now as I get stuck behind the army training school drivers, in their new posh trucks. Bin man would definately get stuck in our street if he brought that for the weekly trash -
Just tried to buy the full version of the map and there was a long delay, about 15 mins, waiting for payment, having logged into paypal, then it asked again for paypal and now stuck on order. Anyone else had a problem? I'll probably let it get past midnight and start again tomorrow, no doubt both sides are very busy at the moment. Looking forward to it.

That is such a mean looking piece of military kit. Pity we can't drive these. However it sure looks a complicated way of carting around somthing that would normally fit on a flatbed, or am I just being thick. I take it the prime mover in this case would be used for hauling tanks? But still looks great -

FYI, Have seen these as 1/16 scale RC models....the price is ridiculous, £300+....much prefer Currenthill's vehicles. -
Received my Phantom T-SHIRT today, this morning in the post.....so the Phantom is soon? I've had it on....but I don't know any more about the plane....so no super powers then, lol

SA-342 Gazelle 2023 "FM" Update
flyingscotsman replied to Polychop Simulations's topic in SA-342M Gazelle
Good advice, So many moons later. I get back in the Gazelle that had been working fine, to find it went off the ground at the touch of the collective, like a Saturn 5! I had a bootfull of Right Rudder and I was emulating Woodstock from Snoopy! Uncontrollable. Found this thread, co-pilot.....I never have looked at co-pilot.....duh!. Yep co-pilot has all sorts of axes. Deleted them and calmed down my axes, reversed the collective and.....much more controllable....THANK YOU. I'm still rubbish at hover, but can see that the axes need a few tweaks and I should be there, THANK YOU -
Have always asked for more 2 seaters, I think they look cool and this one looked cool, when it came out, and I was still little.......I'm no longer cool by the way! THANK YOU, Looking forward to it

unable to reproduce IHDASS brightness/dimming not responding
flyingscotsman replied to flyingscotsman's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hello Lord Vader, Well I did as suggested, I did find the controls, in 'All but Axis Commands' not in their own niche as you showed. Set up the rocker switches on the Left Hand MFD, Yes I did have only one side set up as it were. Now have BRT & Con set up However, I now have the knob, inner and outer turning, as I move the rocker switches, ....but no effect on the monacle. It stays the same. I also changed over to the Right Hand MFD, set them up again, the knobs follow the actions, but there is nothing happening on the screen. Wierd Still have NO MODS by the way, so something is not working 1hr later.....I deleted the Module, shut down the pc, and re-installed. The knobs still turn as directed by the MFD's. the monacle does not respond. Can't think what I'm doing wrong -
unable to reproduce IHDASS brightness/dimming not responding
flyingscotsman replied to flyingscotsman's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi Lord Vader, Thanks for that I'll give it a go and see what happens Appreicated amendment.....I have no ihadss under ah64 pilot, I'll look at the main settings and hopefully see if I've missed something -
Had this problem for some time. The knob on the control panel, turns but has no effect in dimming or brightness of the IHADSS, It definatly used to work This evening I Have ensured I have Windows updated, latest Beta version, no mods. I have the IHDASS increase and decrease programmed to a Cougar MFD rocker switch, which responds in Adjust controls. Have tried it on both left and right Cougar panels. Is seen in Control Adjust, but does not respond in game. I also tried with button on the MFD's on the Adjust controls, yes it's seen in controls, but does not work I ran a repair and clean up I then tried every Map, Caucusas/Normandy/Channel/Syria/Sinai/P Gulf/SA/Marianas. Each map opened as new and vanilla Did it on the ground, and in flight, both day and night as it were. No response PC Specs PC Intel i5-5700 3.4gHz 64Bit - 48Gb RAM Graphics card Nvidia GE FORCE RTX3060 36GB Graphics card has latest driver installed as of last night. It's not the end of the world, but I prefer to be able to dim it. Any assistance appreciated, I could'nt find the same topic, so started this Thank you dcs.7z
