  1. note the darker cloud shadow on distant mountain tops, now looks great. default terrain textures in screen shots.
  2. tweaked the cloud shader to be darker, I really like it now when flying under cloud formations. mod comes with a back up original shader for 1.2.7 screens below and DCS World Cloud Shadow Shader Mod zip file . install overwrite when prompt cldshad.FX DCS World\Bazar\shaders\clouds note : works in multiplayer. enjoy all diveplane.   3. just have to read the forums like the rest of us to try come up with fixes to match your rigs hardware. reduce everything to 0 then work your way up. big frame hits as I have said many times are shadows and lighting. set those to 0 in options.lua.
  4. sure they will include some door gunners at some point.
  5. nice if ed code in more variations , one with more contrast only I think.
  6. settings there anyway to try out. maybe some one can adjust them better. I don't have the time atm to fully create this one a mod, might do later on.
  7. ai a10 has smoke output , currently not modelled in the player side yet. let me recheck.

  9. think its more smokey?, tried adjusting mig g model smoke output. smokiness_level = 0.80, testing with this I did see a decrease in frame rates when zooming right in on model. not sure if that's with smoke level values increased causing this.

  11. not so much a mod but how to adjust engine smoke in each aircraft, many where complaining that the a10 both a and c version aircraft has unrealistic smoke effects, I do agree, so I took the time to trace the command line and found it. these are located in the PlaneConst.LUA for each engine they will be a line below which has smoke values. line is smokiness_level = 0.01, SETTING IT TO THIS VALUE HERE WILL CLEAR A10 SMOKE. max value is = 1.00, not sure if adjusting planeconst.lua effects online play as it might. enjoy playing with the smoke effects. diveplane.
  12. theres a few old scripts out can indeed simulate light flash, but really the script is creating key press on off on off .

  14. much of the lighting systems need addressed also rear lights for cargo night lifting if u look careful lamps on the rear gears. cockpit lighting is still wip nothing works, main red white lamps.

  18. not seen one A10 pic on the net so far producing visible smoke trail , even on take off where max power is applied, I say remove this on the A10.
  19. your cpu is letting u down switching even to a i5 will vastly improve performance for u. I have a i5 quad core running stock speeds at 3.1 , runs dcs great. really what are you going to upgrade on the rig for a $100 bucks? not much I say.
  20. atm only 2 dedicated cores for dcs , one for sounds other for sim end of things. new edge engine available soon = Nevada map, ED they did say it has multi gpu support added now.

  25. I already reported this another thread, by turning lights to even 0 in options.lua the farp lighting remained on. =1.2.7 these lights need performance fixed, as they are a massive frame rate hog.
