Ca passe le temps dans le train jusqu'au boulot... Et en effet, ça doit être bien pénible de traduire un manuel non finalisé où chaque ligne doit être relue en cas de beta patch. Au moins, ici c'est figé.

Maybe can you, Silver_Dragon, add in reference the fact that a 3rd party can: - Create a 'Module' for DCS World - Create a module called 'DCS: Module', And the differences between the two... (I foresee that as recurrent question ;) )
-
Haven't you some lines to code in place of doing bad jokes?

None but the winners can self-congratulate...

I just figured that for the people who have knew LOMAC (or LOACS in some countries), and thus have some knowledge over the 'genesis' of the sim, they would understand more easily than the 'newcomers' or people that just discovered the 'series' for whom it's confusing to see different level of fidelity in the sim. Just like Rotorhead just mentionned: "These multiple (rather than double) standards bother me".

Can't agree. ED has gone further than initial plans concerning FC3. I'm OK with the fact that some people would spend extra bucks for 6DOF pit per aircraft but do you think it would be profitable for them to create those, which is extensive work, for some people than focus on new projects for everyone? Basically, as a company manager, would you like to put a 3D modeler at work for 6DOF FC3 pit to gain few bucks or would you want to ask your modeler the same amount of work but for a product that will be selling much more? I personaly prefer see ED moving further to steps forward than stay on same stage for eternity. We all know now they are working hard on EDGE (new rendering engine) among other DCS modules to come, improvements on the scripting engine, (maybe research on multi-threading but that's a guesstimate done after reading a 2007-2008 post, damn, can't find it back) So was I happy after having read the Wags's post explaining the facts. And it's clear that if the company would survive, they have to produce/release something new to have incomes,... to spend on R/D, patches, modules,...

Nice screenshot of capabilities of EDGE :P Anyway, it's a good new. Good continuation.

Are your 'fuel shutoff' switch in good position on your TM Warthog?

 Excellent! Very nice camera choice and sounds fit perfectly

From last newsletter: 'We hope before the end of the year'. ( :devil_2: But no precision on which one  )

Ex (10+ years ago) student pilot in Belgian Air Force. (Fired during Marchetti course) Now crime investigator in Federal Police. A wife and a kid. The kid, 18 month now, seems to accept better the concept of 'homepit' than the wife... :) Edit: On a side question I ask to myself is: how many female in this 'male' hobby?

Very original. Well done.

You're maybe right. But I have faith in the public :) BTW, if I can help the team in giving them fresh money during their extensive development time, why not? If I can help them in saying 'In my rig, that or that is not working, is it specific to my computer or is that a general bug?',... And after all, if I buy the beta then I can fly it and that's my main goal. Again, everyone is free to buy or not. And I'm OK with the fact that Vietnam (era) theater would be a great plus when flying that bird (as well as the upcoming F-100 among all other of that era)

It's up to you not buying the beta if you prefer stand by the final release. I think it's a good opportunity offered to everyone to discover and play with the product, even in beta stage. Also, the 'public beta testers' or the public who have purchased the final product in its beta stage may send comments or updates to the devs so they can correct/fix their module. (Like everyone would do after final release). It's kind of 'you can participate to the polishing of our product in buying at beta stage while playing with' thing. When you pay 49.99$, it's for the product in itself, not just to participate in the beta (which would be a non sense). And I guess it should be a nightmare for the devs/commercials to have 'separate accounts' between 1/2 price beta + 1/2 price final for one, total price for another,... Certainly for the Digital Rights Managements and the licence keys. I think non negligible part of us is happy in this way. Again, no one forces you to buy the product in its beta stage. If you want to wait, so do.

Very well done. Thank you Derelor

I did the same several month ago with my CM 690II, and the TM warthog cable plugged in it. I thought I'd have a heart attack! Hopefully, The USB port of the case is dead but not the one of the Warthog! Just a bit bent but it works :yay:

I've approximately the same setting as you (Stick on the right side and not center), also on an Ikea chair but it's on a hard floor. Darn, it's a pain not swiveling when applying rudder. When in combat, from an outside view, it's more like a 'dance dance revolution' game...

And avoid at all cost all light sources behind you, in the sensor's FOV. This jams badly the TiR.

Impressive  Err, wait. PeterP, you've got a force feedback TM Warthog????? (Or I'm dreaming awake) What, How, Where,... ?

Are these vids in 3D? I'm crying now! How to reverse it to 2D? EDIT: I'm not really interested in 6th gen aircraft, because everybody knows that 5th gen is the last MANNED gen... :troll:
