  1. Looks like a Mig-28... EEeerr, let's say a F-5N from VFC-13 Squadron EDIT: I guess this topic will fly to Chit-chat section in 5... 4... 3...
  2. Félicitations les gars. Et bonne continuation. (J'espère que le manuel du P-51D ne fait pas transpirer de trop les correcteurs... ;) )
  3. OK, looking for end of june so... But, as clearly stated, without any promises. We are close to say 'two weeks'... ;)
  4. Great update! Full of interesting content. Thank you ED. GA, how much attempts have you done to pass your F-15 through the tiny hole at 00:42? Impressive! Can't wait to try it by myself... (EDIT: I just have, by nostalgy, seen 'Project 10' again. Hope GA, you will bake us a so epic Project 18...)
  5. I'm not OK with you on that one. You're right saying there is nothing official but on there website, we can find indications: - They are partner with ED and they probably helped with the EDGE coding/testing/design, (...It is a joint development of Eagle Dynamics and its affiliated company, Smartgraf. ) - They are probably concerned with the Strait of Hormuz map creation, that one that will be sold by ED. (Image on their site and Google map comparision There are plenty references to an ED/SmartGraf partnership. I'm sure they are also in relation with professional (non game consumer) contractors (sounds logic economicaly speaking) for projects we will never see run on our PC's. In conclusion, it's a bit more than yada yada. I feel we could believe the specs estimations since they are running EDGE. BUT... It doesn't give any clue about the DCS2.0 release time. EDIT: After an IP lookup, there IP address (87.98.144.10) is located at Paris/France, OVH Provider, the same host/provider than for the ED website (IP 87.98.182.202). EDIT2: What confuses me a bit is when I look after the phone number of the company on the web, I find that... Don't know what to think.
  6. Looks like Strait of Hormuz to me... Aye, a redefined IR filter! Finally. I like the following: "Collisions with all objects including wires and vegetation; Information about airfield taxiways for simulation modules; Possibility of using roadway networks for route searching." They are based at Minsk There presentation: "EDGE is a modern software system designed to visualize and create highly detailed large scale 3D scenes. It is a joint development of Eagle Dynamics and its affiliated company, Smartgraf."' So, would EDGE be co-developped by ED and Smartgraf. And now the latter creates terrains (for ED-consumers? / Pro market? Maybe both) Anyway. I liked what I've seen
  7. I have the dream that the request in my sig comes true...
  8. Impressive. What patience, what dedication! Looking forward to your module Pat. Bon courage pour la suite.
  9. I see what you did there! :music_whistling: Sadly so true. Bah, 'two more weeks'...
  10. May the fourth   This one is Combined Arms update!
  11. Gardening is my passion:megalol:
  12. All I would like to see now is a 10 second video where Wags crashes on a tree... That would make the day of many simmers around here!
  13. Windows 10 Technical Preview and no problem so far...
  14. You're right,... and that's why it's important to have separate passwords. But on the site, the login is still not protected. The login information we send are 'in clear'. And when logged in, the site remains unsecured (No crypto protection (SSL/TLS)). So, as a suggestion/question, is it possible to update the website to a standard modern protection level?
  15. Suggestion: I'm a bit concerned regarding the security of the website (and the forum). As our account is linked to our modules serial numbers and bank datas, the process of login into the site seems quite dangerous. Isn't it possible to crypt (SSL/TLS) the accesses to the site? Or to create an encrypted version of what is in the e-shop and serials managements part of the site? An un-encrypted site, as it is now, is a major threat for all the customers.
  16. Shooting a 300 meter long defenseless floating scrap iron... What a performance!
  17. Not bad, but the trees do not cast shadows.
  18. These Fx are hard coded in the graphic engine, so it is impossible to do... And how would you take a part of a graphic engine to transcode it to an other engine? No way.
  19. And the cool thing is: we know the configuration of Wags: i7 4770K, 8 GB RAM, GTX 780ti, Windows 8.1, and 512 GB SSD. Now we have an idea about perfs... even if it's an alpha the focus seems to be on efficiency.
  20. All depend the duration... I sustained 6G manoeuvers in a Marchetti SF-260 many times without any problem but I nearly G-LOC'ed at 4,5G in a Fouga Magister during a "clover leaf" that lasts forever.

  22. Yes, you have to purchase the campaign separately. It costs 9.99. Follow the link given by Wags or go to ED store. Warning. It is said that the drm will authorize 3 activations max.
  23. Sorry in advance for the bad language, but this pilots has big balls of steel! [VV]99490998[/VV]
  24. Situation in 2009, Jurassic period so...: "Eagle Dynamic’s staff is made up of 55 full-time employees, most of who have graduated in applied math and physics. Among them are five doctors of science. The staff includes experienced engineers, managers and artists who have worked in the military, software development and aerospace industries." Source: Interview with TFC Producer Matt Wagner
  25. Tech progress: Japan Display has invented an 8'' 4K display (578ppi) By now, it's only a demo product. But it shows the technology goes to the good direction... (Source - in french: http://www.tomshardware.fr/articles/4k-uhd-tablette,1-54798.html)
