  1. 1. Include fixes to 1.12 problems with the BS add-on And then there'll be a smaller post-release patch
  2. Just tested out the http://www.lockon.ru/ web-site. Works OK and I even logged on with my password and got my product serial number.. Pheww! Finally! Sheeesh! I was able to d/l the 1.12b patch but the StarForce driver uninstall utility and Lock On v.1.1: Flaming Cliffs Activation Store Utility could not be downloaded from lockon.co.uk
  3. Zip version Weta, I've uploaded a zip version su-25_critical strike - Zemo-Azhara_chrism.zip
  4. I picked up a ATI X1600Pro AGP and it's currently $160CDN at Future/Shop/Best Buy I wondered about my power supply(300W) but I've had no problems. I tend to fly 1280x1024 - 4xAA;8xAF - some heat generated but I chose an extra big fan for my CPU box.
  5. cool - tried your server last weekend - good environment
  6. TekaTeka's method seems to work. The 1st time I got to RidgeHQ, the farm was not visible(using F8 and scanning/scrolling about). But I exited quickly [Esc | QUIT] and was back at the map and tried again. The farm was there. That looks like a reasonable work-around. I switched the Farmhouse for another building(very Tall) but I got the same hidden building problem in the campaign. I still like to fly the mission - it is a fun little mission.
  7. Revised the campaign by changing the building from the Farm House Seems to work out OK. Done some testing but need more time to test and to edit the mission briefings.
  8. I noticed in testing that in the Ridge HQ mission, that if it wasn't completed first time, the static buildings+helo would disappear(probably underground) until I jiggled their icons on the map. Sorry if it's fuxored - it seemed to test OK for me. Password is "gilliguck"
  9. It's for the InfraRed Counter Measures - spinning disco ball to counter heat seeking missiles. "The Su-25T and Su-25TM aircraft further include a flashing “Sukhogruz” IR jammer mounted at the base of the tail fin above the engine exhausts, to confuse the tracking of conical-scan infrared homing (IRH) missile seekers. This equipment can be activated during a mission by pressing Shift+E."
  10. Doubt it but you can always try it out. Hit F7 and F8 to cycle through the objects.
  11. I use tanks and artillery to shell all the time - don't use the static objects. You change the Waypoint type from Turning Point to Attack Point and then a whole new choice opens up. When Attack Target is selected, the TARGETING mode button is available. This allows you to designate specific targets to be attacked by the active Group. When the Group reaches the Attack waypoint, it will attack the assigned target(s). Youi can also target locations rather than objects. You'll see all of this in the LO FC Quick Start Manual 1.1 in C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\Doc starting page 47 See pages 81+ for placing tanks
  12. While ED would like getting some extra coin from those few who only want the Su-25T, I think that's a very marginal market. If ED offered one big expansion package of Su25T and Ka-50, that would be an awesome attraction to those who've never picked up any Lockon before. That BS Ultra expansion pack would certainly bring interest from a North American publisher - maybe a big one. My best guess: We'll end up with diminishing 1.12b crowd and the BS versions 1.2x for everyone else I'll be moving onto BS and making plenty of missions for it.
  13. Thanks for testing it out. Glad we got an answer on it. I'll make a note of it and probably do some more testing.
  14. I started up on Network Play, Chose server, Loaded in su25t_Coop-FollowThrough05_RailDepot When I was up in the sky, I took my 1st screenshot It showed the diamond in A2G mode << ScreenShot_119_ss.jpg >> removed - problem solved The next four are when I was over the Rail depot and Cycled through them with the Tilde key. I didn't move the Shkvar TV around. << ScreenShot_120_ss.jpg >> removed - problem solved << ScreenShot_121_ss.jpg >> removed - problem solved << ScreenShot_122_ss.jpg >> removed - problem solved << ScreenShot_124_ss.jpg >> removed - problem solved Those diamonds were there for all 4 targets NOTE: Earlier I had tried it but chose "Client" rather than server, and I accidentally saved over the d/loaded copy. That might be your problem: you might have kibbled the save - that's my best guess. Oh, to get the above screen shots, I started from absolute scratch from the downloaded zip file.
  15. I downloaded the zip, loaded 05RailDepot into the Mission Editor and at Waypoint 3(for both Merge_Group1 and Strike Group) found they had been targeted as they should be . In the Technical Notes, I mentioned using the Tilde ' ~ ' key to cycle through the Diamond Targets Were you doing that?
  16. Shift-L and then RWIN-HOME
  17. Yet another version of "Follow Through" BIG Thanks again to Thomas @ Lockonfiles.com I've taken the "Follow Through" Campaign and extracted the 8 single-player missions for your flying pleasure. Simpler missions, more realistic, and no labels. There are no briefing movies - they're for the Campaign only. You are flying as the defenders(Russia + USA) versus the Extremist Nationalist forces escaping to the Black Sea coast north of Georgia. Your air unit is transferred in with the job of mopping up any enemy forces. Download MissionPack here Enjoy  PS I'm starting to work on my next campaign. Was going to have a much larger "Follow Through" and made about 13 missions in total. But I calculated the size of the movies and saw they might be more than 100MB and I also shifted fields after mission 8. So I felt right about what was produced at the end.

  18. I did ask on the forums when I was making up my "Up-to-speeed Guide for the Su-25T" and Ironhand responded. They knew about the warm-up period but said that they modelled it as instant-on. See this thread here and this thread here
  19. Coop Mission Pack - "Follow Through" for the Su-25T by John "ZoomBoy27" Thomas for 2 player Co-Op play on-line - 8+ missions See attachment For version 1.12a or 1.12b of Lock On: Modern Air Combat - Flaming Cliffs. You fly the Su-25T and the missions are straight forward and as conventional as possible. There are no labels. The information available is limited to what scouts or recon units would know and could be reasonably plotted into your weapon systems. The last Mission (PopUp Radar) has 2 versions - one with just 2 human flyers, the other with 2 humans each having a wingman. Installation: Unzip the zip file into the Missions folder(such as C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\Missions\) The SitRep is one where an allied Russian and American forces are facing extremist national forces north of Georgia along the Black Sea. In the current phase, the enemy has been pushed back to the Black Sea coast. Your air unit is transferred in with the job of mopping up resistance points and harrying any enemy forces. Issues: See the Text File - Su25T_CoopMissionPack_Follow Through.txt Password: gilliguck. Thanks and enjoy! su25t_CoopFollowThrough_MissionPack.zip
  20. I've uploaded a 2 player Co-op MissionPack to LockonSkins - just waiting for it to be approved. It was fairly easy to do using the Merge function but it also helped that the missions all started from the Parking Area. That meant I didn't have to re-jig the mission timings.
  21. thanks for the heads up - whatever that means :)
  22. Looked it up and never heard of that. I'm Canadian and "follow through" only has meanings for golf swings and completing tasks. If you have to explain, it's not too significant. Nice dictionary for Englishers but you'd be surprised how your specific vocabulary can be very local. For years I thought Americans knew what a toque(wool knit cap) was. And as someone named John Thomas, I've never needed to explain its secondary meanings to other Canadians, because no one knows. Regardless of its title, it was great experience putting together the briefing movies. Gave the whole flying experience a nice, serious vibe.
  23. Courtesy of LockonFiles, I'm announcing my new Campaign (82MB in size due to movies) Su-25T Campaign "Follow Through" with Briefing Movies Thanks Thomas for your extra effort For the Su-25T - Contains Briefing Movies before each mission You are flying as the defenders(Russia + USA) versus the Extremist Nationalist forces along the Black Sea. In the current phase, the enemy has been pushed back to the Black Sea coast. Your air unit is transferred in with the job of mopping up resistance points and harrying any enemy forces. A simpler, more basic style of mission with no labels. Sorry, no Russian accent in the briefings. A zipped file to be unzipped into your Campaigns Folder. See the ReadMe page. Not a LoMan or Modman file. For version 1.12a+b/Flaming Cliffs. Enjoy! PS: MissionPack(sans movies) to follow shortly.
  24. I'm not too certain of Ubisoft's legal rights but it might be interesting to see if Lockon stuff can get onto Direct2Drive or other services. Better than Starforce? D2D Falcon-4.0: Allied-Force
  25. What sort of input devices are you using? It sounds like a key is getting stuck
