I agree completely with that :) . And, of course, it will augment the number of employable tactics. As much i prefer (read "love" :D ) the MiG, it will be a pity if there will be no upgrade to the Su-33 FM. Carrier operations are fun.

I went for all the planes (even when I had already the P-51D) and a physical copy of the Me-262A manual. I only choosed the manual because I had to choose anything. I really don't care about the paper copy, I always use the digital ones. There should be a option to drop the physical rewards, per backer choose.

I'm talking from the applications field (remote sensing imagery processing), I'm not an radar engineering specialist :) The X band radar have more resolution, so is affected by clouds and precipitation. A Doppler radar (probably a pulse-doppler) will measure the relative motion to the sensor, so it can be used for precipitation quantifying. In aviation radar use and generally speaking, it will filter the noise from the ground and show the moving elements at the sensed volume/area (look-down/shoot down). Someone with more radar use knowledge, specifically on the RP-22 Sapfir radar, can put some more light on this?

I want to change the color of the required bank and pitch indicators, on ADI in the Su-33, to augment the contrast. Is that possible? Can I ask for the developers implement that? I'm having hard work landing in the carrier with 0 visibility, in the new 6DOF cockpit... I'm looking at the textures files but not seeing the needles, only the instruments base textures and scales.

I noted long ago the aiming sight erratic behaviour on a shallow angle aproach, when laser rangefinder is activated. In "reality", and while not having any knowledge about the real system, this is acceptable as it could be the laser sensor receiving "last" and "first" returns. In the sim, I don't know. It could be some bug related with parallax/terrain model, or in the way the system is modelled...
