  1. 80's nostalgy. Nice lyrics. Larry Greene, "Trough the Fire". With F-14A footage.
  2. Nice read, page 16 "Alaska: Luftwaffe steps up for exercise". F-22A and Typhoons on BFM.
  3. Any news about MiG-29S TWS? The last time (Friday) I tried it online, in TWS2 it guided only to the first target and didn't launch the second R-77. I made a online test with Sgt. Wilzah, and with only one target the radar is locking it and giving a warning receiver signal. We didn't try with more targets because we were far way from the engagement areas :) As more people advised, I suppose TWS2 implementation is work in progress...
  4. :D I think we can't stop. At least until it starts to be a personal attack. :)
  5. As far as I know, the GLONASS constellation doesn't have the coverage of the GPS one. In 2008, it restricted to only generally cover the Russian territory. One main difference between the Soviet and the "Occidental" use of reserves is that "reserves" (the Soviet better forces) were used in the advancing/winning zones with consequent exploration in deep, in contrast to use the reserves in the weaker points.
  6. Yeahh, it's one hell of a machine. With proper software it will eat FLOPS af data.
  7. :eek::eek::punk: That's what I call an Internet Access!
  8. Thank You for the Team work. We know You are working after working hours. If You don't have a working timetable, You should have :) Cheers.
  9. Did that once. Introduce new route on ABRIS and PVI-800, load Vikhrs and two fuel tanks: on route from Krymsk or Krasnodar (I don't remenber exactly), thru the mountains to Sochi. Only to have a ping timeout or game crash after almost one and half hour from take off :D
  10. Release it in Russian! We don't care. :D
  11. ^^ I had shot down one A-10C, flying a P-51 online at the 104th's server. For the fun of not having in that moment (months ago) FC3. I tried to dogfight an AI P-51, in singleplayer with the mission editor, and I got owned while flying a MiG-29A. I didn't fight for separation, of course, but stayed in the melee.
  12. Neat. I would like also to see controllable infantry in DCS. As we have the terrain engine now, it makes no sense as there are no variety and masks where to hide, protect and progress. Maybe in the future, after we see the EDGE engine capabillities.
  13. And a lot of people are arguing about the taken time to debug the network code... These problems are natural to have, the last patches brought CA and FC3 into DCSW.
  14. Wait for the "Anti-Christ coming" answers for this event... At least Zhirinovsky wasn't punching anyone in the face :)
  15. 30 km/s? Is there any missile capable of intercept this scale of velocity? I don't know what are the velocities of reentry nuclear ogives...
  16. Oh yeah, today they spilled their coffee over the knees, for sure, looking at the screens.
  17. Complete approvement. I would ask the extension of moderation to that kind of attitude to all chats. Sometimes it's completely annoying having to abstract to someone complaining about absurd things. If a Ka-50 get detected by a radar, it is doing it wrongly and should be shot!
  18. AWACS and EWR/GCI control intercept will make even more sense with the upcoming modules like MiG-21Bis, F-100D and F-104G. For all the others airplanes, implement the known datalink capabilities, even among the birds in the air. It will be a game change that will need tactics adaptation. For now, as I remember it, the Map interface will bring the capability to control intercept by AI fighters.
  19. Ukraine has plenty of good soils but some of the harshest climates for that (too low temperatures). Be self-sufficient, go DIY inside :smartass: Lets be on-topic :D So... is it out yet?! :D
  20. Map all Autopilot, Flight Director, Altitude Hover and Trimmer/Trimmer reset (can be a combination with some modifier key), to the flighstick. Train how to take off and hover. Again, again, again... and again, until you feel comfortable. Then train how to use the trimmer and autopilot in a linear flight, use even the Altitude Hold autopilot (change to radar mode). After that you can train to fly with Flight Director.
  21. Having different modules doesn't mean multiplying the data to share. There are a standard data to share, server side, composed by coordinates, velocity vectors, used sensor data, etc. The work being made is the base to all the incoming modules. So, it's better to account to all features and probable associated problems. Let's have patience, having a stable network code is a milestone.
  22. Very good photos. The IFV on the ridge its just insane!
  23. Yeahh, the image with the Borey and the Typhoon must be a montage.
