  1. I'm having the same issue. I've been flying the Case III recovery mission in Caucasus or Persian Gulf under Instant Action. I'm pretty confident in my alignment with the needles. I had auto-throttle on at around 8 nm which kept the AOA very nicely within range. However, when I engage the autopilot with the nosewheel steering button (after all the correct lights light up) at around 4 nm with the needle being centered, the autopilot makes a dive. After that, the autothrottle also goes out of whack and it's always overcorrecting (despite the fact that before autopilot engagement it was holding the AOA nicely). I tried different outside temperature settings for the auto-throttle with no real difference in the way it controlled throttle. The autopilot flies low with regards to IFLOLS overlay. It lands on the carrier, however, with the large AOA swings it's a pretty bad approach and I can manually do better. What is going on with ACLS currently?
  2. What VR controllers do you use? I have tried it again, palm up and down, and couldn't get it to work. I wait in while the stabilizers lock, oversweep flag appears. I can pull the handle back to oversweep and the wings seem to go to oversweep. However, I cannot stow the handle nor close the guard.
  3. thank you, good to know! hopefully it gets implemented for VR users
  4. Bug: rudder trim does not work, either w/ rudder stabilizer activated or not Can I reproduce it 100%: yes If not 100%, how often out of 10: How to reproduce/ description: Just tried to adjust some rudder trim and could not using VR controllers DCS Version: OpenBeta 2.7 System Specs: CPU AMD Ryzen 5600X GPU RTX 3080 32GB RAM OS: Win10 Peripherals: Joystick: Thrustmaster FlightHotasX Throttle: same Pedals: Saitek rudder Others: Headtracker: Oculus Rift S Mission File: instant action/air to air refueling in Caucasus in F14 Log: Track: Video/ Screenshots: can attach if needed Mods: I do not use any mods.
  5. I actually wasnt able to do it in cold start either. Going to try palm facing up, thanks
  6. Hi, I wonder if the oversweep is going to be corrected at some point. In VR, using the controllers, I can put the handle to 68 degrees where the oversweep flag shows up. I wait. Then, I can move the handle to oversweep, however, I cannot push it in, and therefore I cannot close the guard. The wings do not move to oversweep position either. I'm sure it all can be done with keybindings. I would love if I could oversweep the wings in the cockpit using VR controllers. Thanks for your continued work, it's amazing!
  7. I'm experiencing violent shaking upon loading up on the catapult with the F-14 on a Supercarrier. Interestingly, I don't get it if I'm doing the take-off missions; I got it first when I was doing a recovery mission and wanted to take off again. It happened multiple times when I was trying to launch after a landing. Going over that SRS page, I noticed they adjusted the Surge smoothing back in November. I have these settings applied on my DOF reality motion sim. Still, the violent shaking happened. I wonder if I should just jam up the Sway smoothing effect? I do not want to lose any details because of that though. Anyone else with these issues?
  8. I am having the same issue in VR with controllers. I get the oversweep flag indication. But then I cannot move the lever to the 75 degree position. Furthermore, I cannot stow the handle when it's at the position where the oversweep flag comes on. So then I move it further ahead to be able to stow it, at which point the oversweep indicator disappears. I guess it's not fixed yet.
  9. I am having issues with moving the wing sweep handle in VR with controllers. It seems to move just fine after about half the range of the handle. However, in high angles (over 50 degrees), I cannot move the handle properly. Therefore I cannot put it into Oversweep. Stowing also becomes impossible at these angles and hence cannot shut the guard. I cannot use the mouse as when the controllers are on the mouse doesn't seem to be functional in VR. Anyone come across this?
  10. I have tried restarting the game. I run it in Steam. I have also tried to install different Beta versions of the game (open public vs 2.7 beta), which also didn't solve the issue. When I run the game, the F14 module is not among the modules on the bottom. And I get no notification that I could download it. In Steam it still shows as the original price. This is probably an issue with the Steam version. I wonder if there is a work-around or I would need to download the non-Steam version of the game
  11. So I was able to get a trial period for the F14 on the website. However, in-game it's not showing up. Let me know if you find a solution!
  12. Thanks, I could not find the older report
  13. Open Beta, Supercarrier, Hornet settings. When I am doing the Case III recovery Mission, when I bolter there is no further communications. I fly to 1200 AGL, flaps down, gear up, waiting for ATC to instruct me to turn downwind. It never happened. If I turn myself, still there are no comms. Landing after this will result in NC
  14. I am using the Open Beta, Supercarrier, Hornet combo. I was doing the Case II recovery in Missions. However, the clouds are very low. There is no visibility at 10 miles (1200 AGL), and even in close the deck cannot be seen. This would require a Case III landing. However, since this is the Case II mission, it would require me to call 'See you at 10'. If I do that, communications follow as Case II, but the deck is not visible even in close. If I do not call 'See you at 10', communications stop completely as this is the Case II mission. The circumstances would require Case III landing, but the Comms won't match. Btw, game is fantastic, and the new clouds rock! Thanks for the work
  15. Hi there, I have had the same issue - no 'See you at 10', 'Kiss off', and 'Ball' calls. I noticed that the 'See you at 10' would be fixed in the next patch. Would the other radio calls be fixed as well? I have a saved track in case you need it. Really appreciate your work! Cheers
