Hey is not fliying blind, thats called "the Box" a training every apache Pilot needs to master. You are fliying the Helo with the PNVSS system, the optical system mountent on top of the nose. Thats what makes the Apache so powerfull in night operations. The PNVSS is an FLIR system wich is shown in your IHADS. it can move at 120 degrees/sek. After you get used to the "splitet" vision, right eye is IHADS, left eye is not. you can fly very precice and i gets "easy" and natural.

Die Radeon VII sollte FSR tauglich sein. wie Hiob schon geschrieben hat must du dafür aber zwingent die Multithreat Version von DCS nutzen.

Berticon, do you use OpenXR or Steam VR. maybe there is a difference. for me there is just controller off and leapmotion in the drop down

Hy to all, since the update my hand controllers dont work anymore. all i can activate is the leap motion controller, wich i not use atm. Any ideas what causes the problem? repair, rename option file dosnt help

got also an issiue here, non of the contollers gets regoniced in DCS. but my leap motion is shown, even when its of in spezial??? never had that before

the for the LST i wired two buttons. in DCS controller settings you can put an off positon in as input. So if non of the Pysikal buttons is on, DCS sets the programmed button. Hope thats understanable ( no english man here ) Yes, you will need two boards, wich is the downside. I just dont can programm, thats why i go the way i know could not get into programming But i love your Build

I used Leo Bodnar board, yes its not that cheap but anyone with a little patience an soldering knowledge can build the TDAC i did it that way. Would do it ever again, totaly worth it

how heavy is your bird? Nevada is very hot, depending on the time and setting. At a point of weight you will have to make the rolling start. The Hind is not a "normal" Helo. its made for fast flying attaks, think a bit more of a plane .)

do you have a mixed loadout in the pods mabye? then you also have to select wich type you would like to fire.

Er hatte ja eine ganze Zeit keinen Coder mehr, der war wohl sehr krank und konnte desahlb nicht weiter machen. Das scheint sich geändert zu haben, evtl. hat Razbam auch tatsächlich von Anfang an nur einen Teil der Entwicklung übernehmen sollen. Das werden wir nie erfahren. Der Wurm ist halt einfach die Sache das es nicht ganz so einfach ist Daten zu bekommen und dann noch genug Leute für ein solches Projekt zu haben. Im Endeffekt können wir nur warten und hoffen das alles klappt und wir diese Wundervolle Maschine selbst fliegen dürfen

think of the FCR as a powerfull target aquire system. It can scan a high amount of targets and sort them for you. via link, the flight would set there targets and then engage. the Lima Hellfire is "just" a fire and forget weapon. the idea behind was primarly that the helo has not to stay over its cover till the impact. what always is to considre when shooting the Lima, how croudet your targets are. The Missle itselfs does not hit the target you designate when to many targets are in a close croud. roughly about 30-50m circle. take your time an praktice on the range. you will get a feeling for when the Lima will hit the target you want. in our unit we are cariing a mixed loadout of L and K Hellfire, so you can react to nearly every threat

Hier kann ich einen sehr wichtigen Hinweis geben. Wenn du über einen DS-Lite verbunden bist. Wird niemand den Server finden egal was du einstellst. Das liegt am Vectoring des Anbieters. Sehen kannst du das in deiner Fritzbox unter übersicht. Bei Verbindungen steht dann "Fritz!Box verwendet einen DS-Lite-Tunnel" Du selbst kannst das nicht umstellen. Aber man kann bei seinem Provider anrufen und höflich fragen ob es möglich ist, dir eine feste IP ohne den Tunnel zu zu weisen. Habe das gleiche Problem. Evtl. könnte dein Kumpel einfach mal einen Server starten? das währe wohl das einfachste

when passing the WP within 0.2 KM it changes automaticly. When you want to change it manualy, select DIR on the left an then the WP on the right. You have to be in the RTE Page of the TSD

the Apache has no auto hover. you need to understand that you "just" got hold modes, you as pilot have to get the bird into a good hover. keep it under 5knts and engage the hold modes, the bird will always move a bit. Caused by the dynamic of rotor, wind etc. the heavyer the bird is, the less you should hover. for training an learning CP/G, start light, 4 ATGM an max half ammo. if workload gets better, start to fly slowly towards the target area. many people seem to think helos always hover when using there weapons. but thats not the case. movement is the key to survive
