  1. I believe they have already reached a different situation and info from 2020/2021 should not negate the latest hint. Still one may associate the hint with H-6 or J-8 (although not so reasonable as Q-5) but unluckily not mkk or J-10. They may come later, though.
  2. https://b23.tv/dTrpPkm Here. Some discussion below and Q-5 roughly most possible, no more information about subtype.
  3. New hint from Deka: "1968". Only "1968" and nothing more. I think it could be the Q-5 (start of quantity production). null
  4. Update, guys. Deka has finished the draft of Chinese version manual (still in revision) and English version in translation now. 1). The style of writing is similar to the quick guide and 2). HMD is marked as possibly coming in the future (to be cautious with language and expression tradition, I can't say "coming soon" but they suggested that we could expect it at some point.).
  5. DIS的诸位辛苦了,有几个我看到的小问题(也可能不是问题)在B站评论区提了一下,希望之后能得到解答,谢谢各位。
  6. Actually, the rumors also say Deka has already made many stuffs at the official request but can't publish them as civil products by now. However, at least they are thought to be trustworthy by the military and may be allowed to gather some information of those less important aircrafts.
  7. @uboatsCould we have a temporary fix file replacing something bugged, to avoid waiting for next patch?
  8. The TTG indicator from GPS shows twice or more time than actual needed to the waypoint, and its time seems to pass quicker than actual time.
  9. Thanks. I tried and it seems that only tip tanks could be dumped with internal fuel unaffected. According to the scheme in manual, the dumping valve is in the tip tanks and the fuel flow is through non-return valves from the tip to the main tanks if not during refueling. So I set needed internal fuel in ME and then just empty the tip tanks through fuel dumping valves and it works.
  10. As I see the four operating modes in the manual and not in the known issue, but the sight seems to have no response to the switching command. It's always at A/G no roll control mode.
  11. The full tanks are so heavy and it's impossible to set an optimized weight for landing practice with them, especially the tip tanks. Hope we could have empty tanks in ME.
  12. As it's already marked as done, could we expect the manual in the year?
  13. Same problem confirmed from my G940.
  14. In fact JH-7 is more like a tornado doing AJ-37 or super etendard job in China. Or in other words, a Chinese Su-24 maybe more suitable.
  15. Very likely that's not official at all. There're many low level simulator suppliers in China. Some (not all of them) provides relatively reliable civil products even suitable for training, BUT their military products are just for entertainment or basic educational usage. Most of these products can only go to amusement park or shopping center (even not an airshow) with kids in them.
  16. If you find it difficult to focus on the basket, you can try anything else like reference on the wing, pod or pylon, and you would find a proper one of your own. Those are common advice for reference but not the only "correct" solution, you may finally find the basket still easiest for yourself, but it's better to have a try when you have trouble with it. In real condition the basket would be disturbed by the airflow, and the initial alignment is commonly done combining with other reference points and only the final correction just before contact (which is usually not very large) is done focusing the basket. And remember, by tuning the attitude, roughly speaking you are directly controlling the acceleration, derivative of speed and second derivative of position. And stick movement inputs controls even roughly the derivative of attitude. So timely returning the attitude is needed to correct the offset. For example, if you see a left offset, we use stick and rudder to create a right bank and turn. But when you get the right component velocity, the attitude should be re-leveled at once (so to do this, the control input should not be only re-centered but also momently reversed). Your aircraft would use the right component velocity you already have to "float" to the correct position, and you could do the same (reversed) thing to eliminate the component velocity to stop at correct position, just by a left roll ahead of time and then re-level the plane. It's a very easy logic to understand (as I think most players of flight simulation may have considerable interests for math, physics and engineering), but often forgotten when actually performing a refueling. But at the moment you finally get a successful contact, this logic would be immediately internalized into your mind. Same logic is applied to the speed control. And in DCS the correct contact speed is not required by itself (in reality the closure rate should be not too little to ensure a firm contact and lock of connector, nor too much to prevent destroying it) so you could try any way you find helpful, like a slow alignment and then decisively push to contact, or a slow closing with correction in overall process.
  17. Hard to say. They should have done that conventionally and I hope so but I wouldn't be surprised if they have not yet. I remembered hearing that they are quite in lack of programmer, like Razbam in earlier years. My impression is that they would struggle to cope with more than one main project at a time even just pre-developing works, and this problem would also add to the scruple when choosing next project. They used to be doing some research not to be used at once as technical reserve (that's when the Su-30MKK rumor came up if you remember it) and their progress on JF was very struggling during that time. I hope they also know that if they don't want to delay their future schedule way too much.
  18. Could anyone show a 136kts and 13deg AOA touchdown? The 10deg AOA speed matches the table in acceptable manner, but to make a 13deg touchdown I need more than 140kts at 8700kg.
  19. It's a reasonable estimation. Deka is planning to release the JF Chinese manual this month. Although they haven't mentioned if the English version would be released at same time (obviously their original manual would be written directly in Chinese first and need translation), it could be recognized as a sign that most work is completed on JF and only fixes left in near future. Maybe they are now closer to deciding their next module, no matter what it would be. (Still I don't expect it would be a J-10, but nobody knows what after that.)
  20. Is the AAR function visual only now? I see no fuel transfer after contact. And would it pass IC after you move it outside to coexist with JF, or still need to edit CoreMods and no IC? Edit: Is YJ-83K/KG usable now? I edited the config.lua and still get YJ-91 only in ME payload page.
  21. Anyone know whether G.91R would have similar bombing equipment as F-86F or simple manual depress sight like the trainers now we have?
  22. I found no description of autopilot runway and glide slope mode in manual. Are they usable now or not implemented yet or not in our version?
  23. Sorry but the problem seems still there. Damaged by 400kg bomb frags.null
  24. Thanks! Got my long wondered answer.
