Some of the videos have PC specs with them and tbh these are nothing unusual! So I am quite surprised it looks so smooth. Check this one for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmeiXEm9hFY&feature=fvsr It is nonsense that this is only suitable / best suitable for low-level flight. Look at all those trees you can already see from high up, look at the waves in the water, its just amazing how it looks. -
If it were laser hellfires, like he says, it is a surprise because the apache can only guide one hellfire at a time unless in lock on after launch mode, but then the missiles wouldnt be tracking a different target each from the start. Only the L version for longbow apache can be used like bushmanni describes.

Bring PDF on USB-stick to copy shop. Say what paper and bindings you want. Wait 10 minutes. Have high-quality printed manual :) Can even be done without leaving the house with online printing services.

What ever anyone says about it: I like this game. I am still using my Momo racing wheel for it that was originally for my PC but it works.The handling model of the cars is great I think. The GT mode still has the same quirks I guess as before, you can always upgrade a car to the limits and win effortless. Also the events are still exactly the same setup as in earlier versions. Since now MP issues are mostly fixed, that is really great. I also like the nurburgring track a lot, it is really an awesome track! I do not think loading times are too long, maybe need to install it, also it gets faster the more you have played it since it progressively installs itself.

Same, we tried it with 4 guys. Got suspicious persons - Show of force mission. Flew to coords nothing there. In the end checked the map, only friendly position that was close was a FARP. Made low passes, dropped flares etc. but no joy. PS dane, you can set the waypoint in your aircraft systems. Doing it with the map is very inaccurate. There is a thread now I believe in avionics forum, its called "How to make a waypoint?" It has links to some youtubes and explanations :)

Go to modifiers (it is shown bottom left in control setup menu) > select ADD > hit pinky > OK > done. Then change the modifier on the trim from L CTRL to the newly set pinky modifier and you are done. You can use the modifier now for any other commands as well, like UFC / CDU as I did.

OK, So I got an idea today and I mapped all keys of the CDU and UFC to my keyboard with a modifier on my joystick using control setup in DCS. It was a bit of work to bind all the keys but now it is absolute sweetness. If I get new coordinate its just some taps on my keypad with the modifier held down and its in. Also sending text messages ridiculing the flight lead in MP to the number 3 is always amuzing and very fast now :) MUCH faster then clicking everything. I guess everyone found this by long already but I am just so happy how it works now couldnt resist some forum spamming :)

Backup your profiles somwhere outside of ED directory. they are in config/input/aircraft/a10c/

It seems that sometimes the download site gives you zip file. This is incorrect. You should be getting only a .miz file. I have read many posts with people getting zips from this site. I do not know how to circumvent this. Maybe you need to log in or something no clue. I have uploaded the mission to google documents for anyone experiencing this issue. Yes I looked in dash 1 manual also but not yet when I made the mission. The tables are indeed very interesting in that document. I said 'bonus' points on the bank angle because I wasnt sure of the angles I used then so yes its bonus :) I understand it is very annoying to hear me whining about your bank angle all the time :D. I don't think its a real showstopper though because it is only couple of points for turn to final. If someone wants to do all 30 degree banks, he is of course free to do that but no 100% score then in this version. Mission was now uploaded in this form to get feedback on the pattern parameters so thanks for that! I will try and make mission as true-to-life as possible and it will be used in the Flight Qualifications Campaign posted also in User Mission and Campaign forum. PS Jabog I have posted on your forums. -
Correct, player aircraft will spawn about 4 minutes (don't know exact but it spawns at 11:44:30) after mission start. You can either cycle trough some AI views or accelerate time. I think I should've mentioned this in the welcome message.

I agree it is hard but if you reference manual pg 498-500 it states 60 degree banks for all turns, even turn to final. -
Uploaded v1.3 I had already done some tweaks but infantry didnt work in b3 so it wasnt worth it to release also because of stability. Now infantry works again and havent had any crashes so here it is. There is an issue with the target boats LOD and it will not show from range. I have solved this by having them pop flares in different colors for each boat. Now they are quite easy to spot and track. In TGP you can see the model when you are not very far off. Changes in original post.

My issue with multiple-monitor is that when I turn on NVG the aspect ratio on my main view goes bad. Image is stretched horizontally. Anyone knows what that is about?

As far as I know R77 has always been RVV-AE, its just the designation for export. No difference between plain r-77 and rvv-ae.

Its not useless to a pilot because if you know how the systems function, you know how you can fool them. The thesis about heaters in fact does contain concrete methods for pilots and the purpose of the thesis was to find a good strategy for pilots. Glad it brought a giggle on your face, I'm all up for making people laugh. -
Glad you are having fun with it Forza. Bahger, no not planning more tweaks at the moment, sometimes the AI acts a little weird but it doesnt really hurt the mission. When we get close to final I make tweaks to any mission I made to make it more polished but the problem is now that AI behaviour might change with next patch and then you have to do it again anyways. I plan to add randomness then so mission will play differently on different playtroughs. The best experience I think is in MP because you have to be really alert then instead of using AI to spot enemies.

It is an interesting suggestion but I do not think it possible. It also kind of defeats the purpose of the mission because if springfield is the one who has to IR point targets on the ground for axeman then why does axeman have to tell springfield the location of the bunker? Springfield could figure that one out too then and do the mission on its own without ground troops. Envisioning a multiplayer variant of this scenario, this could be more interesting, where a player controlled JTAC controls both the delta team and acts as JTAC. I could then imagine springfield pointing out threats to the ground troops on their way to the bunker and maybe they go for a capture instead of a kill on the HVT. It could be more in a cooperative way then, were ground and air forces target spotting work together to make sure they don't look over any threats. Detection of AI is very good already and since you have F15s and choppers up there they will already be aware of the enemy, regardless if you were able to make them aware of player IR pointer or not. Also, agreeing infantry IR strobes would be very very cool but I do not think it is implemented. The green X's for datalink capable units is I think the closest we can get to that. -
