It said in the patch notes all you have to do is re-enter the modifier button and should be back to normal. Then again if yours got change to a different button physically I guess that doesn't help, lol.

True, what I meant was something similar to mimic the sensation of the plane shaking from the gun being fired. Some type of visual feedback.

If anything maybe it would be cool to see the HUD shake when you fired the gun, to give you a feeling of it firing. I don't know if this is exactly what it's like when the pilot fires but here is a video

If they are external SS's, then the viewing distance is greater. External SS's can be misleading sometimes, once you go into the cockpit, you see half of what was available in external view. You can edit your High.lua file though to help with that.

Same here, I always felt FC wasn't "upto DCS standards" so I never imagined them been played together. Should be fun though, I haven't touched FC since BS came out and then A10. FC got me back into flight sims, so i'll enjoy FC3

No, you could always release them with the dotted line...your just not suppose to cause who knows where they'll land, lol.

This isn't really CPU related, but I noticed you are running window mode...why? Try fullscreen, good chance you'll get better performance.

Same for me, compared to A10C. For triple monitor compare, it performs better than BS 1.02. (imo)

No, you need to uninstall your 1.02 in order for BS2 to install, otherwise you will get an error. Must have Black Shark v1.0 to install Black Shark 2. After you have Black Shark 2 installed, you can update your old Black Shark v1.0 to v1.02, so you will have two games installed. Once Black Shark 2 is installed you can delete your old black shark 1.02

Or the super cool kids way and each new Mt.Dew you buy gives you harder hitting ammo! if you buy a super duper cool kids awesomeness slamming dew extra extreme pack for $14.99 you get super duper awesome cool kids ammo that screams when you shoot. Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I'll just gladly pay for what we have, extremely well detailed sims for a very, very small price. There is NOTHING that compares to these games, AT ALL. Absolutely nothing comes close. They own the market. I am happy they don't charge $59.99 for each new update/addon/patch.

Thanks. So to clarify to anybody else that sees this thread. To install Black Shark 2 from original black shark 1. Uninstall your black shark 1.02 2. Re-install black shark, the default original 1.0 3. Install NEW Black Shark 2 4. THEN patch your OLD Black Shark 1.0 to 1.02 Black Shark 2 is different than Black Shark 1.0, patch 1.02 will not effect Black Shark 2. Only patch your old Black Shark version 1.0 if you wish to continue to play the old game. Cheers.

So as polecat and mustang said Installing Black Shark 2 patch with a 1.0 version of Black Shark worked. However, once you update to Black Shark 2, do we have to install patch 1.02 or does Black Shark 2 include all the updates?

Myself and others seem to have same problem. I do not have the steam version, but people with steam version seem to be having the same issue.

I am having the same problem. I cannot install it in the default location to see if it works though because I have a 64GB ssd for OS/Apps, no room to install the game. sadface

Game mode is awesome for my nephews. I am glad they added it.

Yes, you can disable the 3D option. You just get a black screen with the scoreboard/chat/text visible. Your laptop is plenty fast enough to host DCS. 1MB/s upload is also good enough for 4 players. However if you plan on doing dedicated, it might get a little rough/laggy with 1mb/s upload. Not much headroom if you are streaming a movie, playing another game or something like that.

Yeah. I've been really busy, haven't flown in around two months. Flew today, and just had a big smile on my face the entire time. Was great!

You guys need to relax. It's obvious that it doesn't look like graphics from 10 years ago. It was a sarcasm remark. I said 2001 to insinuate that they aren't pretty. They are WIP but currently they do not look good, at all, to me.
