  1. Nice Christmas spirit you've got there Cichlidfan, Thanks DCS:Hawk please Happy Holidays to all.
  2. I see that 1.2.7 will implement the countermeasures panel and a few other changes. So you guys may want to wait until its out and I'll update this profile again so its fully functional. I'll also include a cold and hot start profile that i didnt have time to include in V2
  3. I'm not sure what the issue is, but i would suggest not using getright for this and see how that goes, its only a very small download.
  4. Here is the profile that i currently use. The blank space in the lower corner i use for teamspeak Huey Helios V2 LiveBait.rar
  5. I'm having an issue with dropped troops not going out past 1.5 - 2km from drop point in search of the enemy. They are heading in the right direction though. Ive tried editing line298 maxDistEnemy and also tried and the standalone function CallSpawn("blue", 6, "LZ hammer", 8000). Both end in the units heading off towards the enemy, but stopping after only going 1.5-2km. What am i missing? Any help would be appreciated. Edit: Sorted it out. Apparently dropped or spawned groups only target the #1 unit of an enemy group. They will engage any other units that they come across that are within range though.
  6. Do you have your inverter on?
  7. Korn, i am tending to agree with you, but while testing this, we had three clients on a server from the beginning, and we all lost tracers at the same time, just after our 2nd reload. Having said that, however, we have had people lose tracers at different times. But for the most part, it does seem to happen within minutes of each other, if not simultaneously. I am leaning towards it being more of an issue with total rounds expended, than a "reload" issue. I wanted to test this out tonight, but theres not enough people around atm.
  8. It may not be a related to reloading, it could be the total number of rounds fired instead. I will try to check tonight.
  9. As the title states, there is an issue with all tracer fire (incoming and outgoing) disappearing after there have been a total of 6 reloads on a multiplayer server. This has been tested on different servers and different maps. It also happens solo on your own server, just expend all your minigun ammo and land, reload, repeat 6 times and all your tracer fire will no longer be visible. If there are two clients, only 3 reloads will be necessary to replicate this. When this happens, you cannot see your own tracers, anybody else's tracers or ground units tracers. You can, however, still see your rounds impacting on the ground or target. Untested with other modules and only tested with huey clients active.
  10. Nice work ClearDark, I'm looking forward to this. Does this include radio frequencies? edit: Ok, i figured out that they wont be, so let me rephrase it, Do you have plans on including the radio frequencies?
  11. Yeh, heard you guys had a ball. Sorry i missed it, I've been crook since Sunday. Hopefully C Coy can launch the POW rescue mission this weekend. 1stCavDiv. is still open for new members.

  14. :thumbup: will see you in the skies its probably easier if you keep an eye on the calendar thread, they fly fairly often
  15. C'mon TimeKilla, get in amongst it, what have you got to lose?
  16. hey Badger, thanks for the encouragement. At the moment, the unit is based in a 1972 environment, however this may evolve as new airframes are released. Mostly slicks dropping troops, however we do have a gunship unit that fly in support of the slicks against light AAA and ground troops. The 1stCav is basically what you make of it. Heres an exert from BlacJacks Post in our forum to explain it better;
  17. you are both welcome. Like Vlerkies said, you are never too young, so long as you are respectful of others. Will see you in the Skies!!
  18. The 229th is dedicated to the Huey and growing daily, and The Asia/Pacific region is recruiting members. If you love the Huey and want some insight into real world tactics and maneuvering, or you just want to fly with like-minded people in huey dedicated missions, drop into the recruiting section and introduce yourself. How and when you fly is up to you. We now have a few real-life helicopter pilots in our ranks. Flyer49 is the Pilot Instructor and hes doing a great job with check flights and flight training. He is also working on getting up to speed other R/L pilots to take up instructor positions. Quote from Flyer49 As stated by sSkullZnBoneZz "There are no requirements other than a mutual love for the Huey, and there is no minimum time to be online--you can come and go as you please" There are three companies: Europe, North America, and Asia/Pacific, and all have positions available. Drop by and have a look http://1stcavdiv.conceptbb.com/ LiveBait
  19. The Asia/pacific group is also open for new members. Come on over and have a look......
