  1. Why the Emil and not the Gustav? It seems like a strange decision to me.
  2. That's not a pitot tube, but a fuel probe. It was fitted to the test aircraft for the biofuel program back in 2010. Source: http://www.eglin.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123196918
  3. Please remember this is NOT my server, I am simply relaying information. Anyway, from the server's owner:
  4. As requested, a full error report for this issue is attached to this post. As usual, if there's anything missing please let me know and I'll endeavour to sort it out. lan.problem.data.zip
  5. Got a new video for you all! Yipee! If you require any more information, please ask. And remember that I'm relaying this information.
  6. Quite a loaded response there, BRooDJeRo. Did I hit a nerve? My apologies. I too miss the homework, in particular what LAN actually means. Provider maintenance isn't an issue, and the connection between two LAN machines is nearly always superior to that of two over the internet. Sandwich indeed. Now that's dealt with, I should probably mention this isn't my video. I am relaying it for someone. This was two local machines, not over the internet. I know for a fact that the two machines he uses are good spec. If you need more information, don't hesitate to ask.
  7. 1.2.3, LAN connection between two machines: I thought this was fixed? Evasive manoeuvres!
  8. One thing to consider is increased workflow efficiency as work progresses on modules. The developers will hopefully optimise their workflow which will increase output rate (in theory).
  9. Evidence from reputable source please, or I call bullshit.
  10. I have had the same email, delivered yesterday.
  11. From what I've been told and observed, they can be fairly swift to two weeks and beyond.
  12. You can play the missions individually by playing them as single missions and pointing the game to the campaign folder (DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Flaming Cliffs\Missions\EN\Campaigns). I wouldn't have too much hope though, I've encountered plenty of problems with this campaign and I don't know if they've been reported or not so I don't know if they're down to be fixed. The betas really need some sort of public issue tracker that everyone can see and submit reports to.
  13. I personally think he is bang on. There are far too many issues for everything to be birds bees and butterflies as a few people would like to imagine.
  14. Doesn't give targets. He just says no task available.
  15. I wonder what version of the FW190 it will be, A or D?
  16. Indeed. The F-16 is a pretty good example of that with all the blocks. The latest block is a very different bird to the "F-16C".
  17. I detect bias.
  18. If people are complaining about something, a problem that you know already to be fixed or in the progress of being fixed, you tell them that you're working on it. Common sense and business practice, no? Can you imagine if the government never told anyone what they plan to change/are changing? It would be chaos. You would have protests about issues that are already solved and are being signed in the next day. Thank-you for highlighting the problem. Consider why the community complains about things. If you don't talk with the people about their perceived problems, they are just going to complain more and more. A well informed community is a happy community because information encourages debate. What does a debate do? Provides the views of a demographic. What does a business need to know about it's target market? Their views. It is a cycle, and one which many fail to recognise, no matter how high and mighty they are.
  19. "Everything is subject to change". No excuse for a lack of communication however.
  20. These are great. Thank-you!
  21. This video demonstrates it well.
  22. I'm still wondering what I'll see first; my bus pass or Nevada.
  23. Look on the bright side, at least you don't get sight and site mixed up. :megalol:
