  1. Look at the account to which the video you posted belongs. That should tell you a lot. Be careful not to stand in the bullshit on the way out! For the record, I don't like the F-35 either. :D
  2. The missiles it carries are not the best. This means you can either loiter at the edge of their range and let him waste them all or just dodge them as they come if you think you're up to it.
  3. No, I think he's got a point, but it's just human nature. Take a WIP shot of a 3D model for example that is simply a tube with a few basic shapes attached; people will say it looks amazing. The upshot is people just don't call it how they see it if they're emotionally invested in it.
  4. It feels more like an experiment that was monetised rather than a fully fledged release.
  5. Good question. I'm thinking of selling it actually. Any takers? :D
  6. Damn, not much love for the P-38?
  7. Well, I hope so. It's been out for nearly 2 years and people have been mentioning it since release, but nothing has been done so far.
  8. Hmm, no option for "I'd rather it be something else WW2 related". My vote would be the P-38.
  9. Hmm, pretty cool! Thanks, ED!
  10. There's a distinct lack of competition to drive innovation and improvement.
  11. +1, looks silly on some jets.
  12. You may be speaking too soon. The F-15 campaign is not bug free sadly. I had to manually edit one of the missions due to a dodgy trigger before I could complete it.
  13. +1 on this issue.
  14. Well yes, I guess scorch marks and a dent might classify as damage (intentional exaggeration). You'll need to be lucky to do anything meaningful with a basic model.
  15. Wow, say anything bad about Russian stuff and you summon the horde. Not bad. There's no anti-pact conspiracy here, the simple fact is a rocket is a pretty poor choice of anti-tank weapon.
  16. My concern is when it'll leave beta. If we're talking Betasimtek beta, we could be waiting a while.
  17. They're so flimsy! Mine is held together by superglue, tape and a little bit of magic.
  18. This brings horrible flashbacks of the banana forums.
  19. The comparison and the suggestions for them to "merge" are just pants on head retarded.
  20. So in other words, the legitimate customer gets screwed over once again thanks to the threat of piracy.
  21. Beyerdynamic MMX-300s. A lot of this depends on what you're going to use them for. If you use them often enough and listen to a lot of music (FLACs for example) then it is worth forking out the extra, IMO. If it is just for sims/games, then I would go for a normal set. Remember though, a non-USB set of cans will be dependent on your soundcard. There's no point getting a good set of headphones if you're powering them with a calculator. On another note, I've never found that USB soundcards are as good as dedicated - just something to keep in mind. Finally, I would always keep clear of "surround sound" headsets, pseudo (digital) or true. My reasoning is that you'll nearly always pay a premium for this but in terms of audio quality you'll usually find that a stereo set at the same price point will sound slightly better. I would even go so far as to say surround sound headsets are a gimmick.
  22. Absolutely bonkers. This is this sort of moronic decision that jeopardises the safety of the boots on the ground, IMO.
  23. Is this compatible with the X52 Pro?
  24. Bahaha! I bloody knew it! With most other companies I'd have thought, ya'know, they wont pull the same stunt twice, right? :D Good thing I waited.
