Ah, if you're in the UK, go and look around your local Staples. There's usually a copy kicking around on their bargain spinny trolley thing. PC World might stock it too. It will be in a red box. I'm on my 3rd or 4th copy, lol! :D I keep losing it...
ED should really take BS1 off the market IMO. There's bound to be people who will buy it thinking they can integrate into DCS world, and even though that is their mistake, I don't think it is fair.
To be honest, I didn't expect this to go 100% smoothly - it is rare anything does. However since DCS world is a pretty huge step forward for the series I'm willing to overlook this weird decision for the time being. DCS World represents the biggest and best change since LOMAC if you ask me.
Those who have paid more are missing out on content, but that isn't my main issue.
Both versions should be tested. Complacency causes bugs. When I shift something to beta or RC, I test all versions of it even if the difference is only a single line of code. You're eliminating what is most likely your most experienced user base by only supporting full versions for a test. That point has been beaten dead by previous posters so I will not elaborate more.
Any flight-simmer worth his salt should go for quality of the experience rather than the name on the "box".
A2A have changed the flight model...substantially. Accusim is a rather like a plugin for FSX. Remember, FSX is part of ESP so it is designed to be able to handle anything if you give it the right tools. The best example of this would have to be LM's Prepar3D.
I also don't need to have another FSX install for any A2A products...
I'd love to see the cockpits pulled out of 2003 and into 2011. I'm not asking for DCS standards as that wouldn't be feasible, but higher resolution textures wouldn't go amiss (I'm lookin' at you, F-15C canopy frame!).
+1 for this feature, I really miss it.
IIRC when you selected the jammer pods for the Su-25T you got both automagically loaded. I can't remember if you could remove one and not the other though.
