  1. Much better! Glad I could help!
  2. The vid shows swiss F/A-18A!
  3. Lovely, isn't it!? :music_whistling: Choose 1080p and full screen! ;)
  4. Have you already tried a less bright, greyish white for the markings? For me that is the first thing that comes to mind, when asking myself why it doesn't really fit into the whole environment, IMHO.
  5. Nice! Thanks for sharing!
  6. Yeah, looks like he's about to smack down the power line! :D
  7. My personal checklist in case this module would come true: Step 1: Drop jar! (<- BKLronin mentioned that point already!) :surprise: Step 2: Avoid puking one your expensive simmer-hardware! :puke::joystick: Step 3: Step in front of a mirror and tell yourself loud and clear: "You're gonna be a hog-driver for at least further 3 years! Forget about afterburners"
  8. ... you're not alone... ;)
  9. All these "I want X, or you won't get my money"-posts are so pointless... You'll find someone thinking like that about each and every possible airframe...
  10. All that sounds really promising! But Slacker also had some really good points! Especially the option to get weather information for certain positions (maybe including forecast) to make them available in a mission-briefing.
  11. Yeah sure... It's not that complicated, is it? :pilotfly:
  12. Sounds good! ;)
  13. What I still seem to miss is at which point the entered call-sign comes into play? All instances use the IDs for identification purposes, as far as I noticed.
  14. Btw. FBW is there for a reason: It saves you from killing the aircraft, or even yourself. ;)
  15. Uhm... NO! Definately not...
  16. Try to klick "Briefing" then "Fly", so you're really sitting in the aircraft. Then try pushig the "Pause"-Key.
  17. From where did you try? Aircraft selection or cockpit?
  18. To stop the master caution! ;) But seriously: When it comes to creating a realistic startup-procedure, you'd let the APU + APU GEN running until R ENG is up, unless you want to perform a X-Feed Startup? Then shutting down the APU GEN and about 1-3 minutes after the APU? I read somewhere, that IRL you have a delay between shutting down the APU GEN and the APU, due to cooling of the APU. Is that correct?
  19. "DCS:Switchless" :megalol: :music_whistling:

    Scale modeling

I always wanted to try making own decals. Just never find the time to give it s shot... Looking cool!
  21. No, in VFR there is nothing supposed to be, even though you may use TACAN where it is available. But for that you would need to pre-plan your turn-points and measure the needed TACAN radials and distances for those (in the ME). Just keep practicing! That's the only way to get a feeling for your aircraft (turn-radius at certain speeds, desired airbrake settings for the base and final, etc.).
  22. On 1: I do, even though I'm not sure wether it's meant to or not.
  23. 1. Once the warning sound appears, the APU GEN light comes up on the warning panel. That's when the engine core rpm reaches the point where the ENG GEN kicks in. Once you switch the APU GEN to OFF, warning sound and light both disappear (as well as the Master Caution of course). 2. It should in no way affect your systems performance, when you switch Master Caution OFF, except for the sound to disappear.
