  1. Wasn't it some of you moderators and testers who said in this thread, that different parts of the teams have a different workload at different stages of product developement/patching, so that one project would not neccessarily affect the other project too much?? And honestly, I can't tell, when things are delayed, what's the reason for that. I never knew the A-10C had reasonable delays caused by FC2. If I misunderstood something here, I stand corrected!
  2. Never ever had to initiate the initial ground alignment!!! Except for turning the CDU & EGI on...
  3. Which editor do you use to modify your files?
  4. I'd agree, if there wouldn't have been numerous statements by ED-Team members, that such a project would NOT seriously affect the ongoing DCS-Series.
  5. No, he was all of a sudden small, black and ugly! No more pants needed... ;)
  6. Thats the time when the engine generator is coming online. It kinda indicates that you can switch off the APU generator.
  7. Don't worry, it's a tough process, learning the sim from the beginning, for all ages! ;)
  8. We hope to get it done by the end of summer. But we'll definately keep you updated. We will also post some previews once we have something to show. The Framework is done, but needs to be fitted and tested. All backround graphics still need to be done (which is a large part of the whole work). Unfortunately keeping our squadron running consumes most of our available freetime at the moment, which is why we're going to put our main-focus on this project, once the summer holidays have begun.
  9. Or assign a joystick/HOTAS-axis (options -> controls -> axis commands) to the zoom.
  10. Oh, TY all, but all reps belong to Schleudersitz! I haven't been involved too much in this specific project. As I'm involved in the VAD-Charts project, you can say "thank you" to me as well, once those are released. ;) :music_whistling:
  11. The server is temporarily offline. Pls. try again in a few ahours!
  12. Looks a little bit like you killed yourself too (a few secs after the pics have been taken maybe)!? ;)
  13. To remain on-topic, just start to bring your wishes for your preferred opposing aircraft to the unknown US fixed wing! Su-27SMK or Su-30 here! :)
  14. LOL!
  15. For SAM-Sites with separate launch and radar vehicles you can simulate it to a certein degree by placing the launcher closer to the expected approach direction of the incoming aircraft. You will get a launch warning however, but you'll be far closer to the missile than you'd expect, cause the AI does its calculations based on the distances from its radar to the aircraft. We tested this once with a BUK-Site in FC2 and the result was devastating...
  16. Should be possible at all APRONs, no? Is there maybe something messed up with your radio settings?
  17. No, the A-10 has no anti-radiation missile capabilities.
  18. I can pretty good tell the time SINCE impact. :) Sorry... joking... You can't! You have to roughly estimate.
  19. At least THIS question is answered 100%...
  20. ... but as the Hog hasn't too much energy itself this will not be a sure shot in each situation you're shot at... Keep that in mind! ;)
  21. When using the measure tool in the ME you have to correct the heading by -6° magnetic variation.
  22. I know it's on Schleudersitzs to-do-list right after the VAD-Charts! ;)
  23. But as long as we have no TACAN approach-charts we'll have to make just the best of it -> go and create an approach that we like. ...unfortunately... Maybe our squadron will provide TACAN approach-charts together with our VAD-Charts. Let's see...
  24. I do! :smartass: I'm good with the fact that you don't. So let me have my view to things as well!
  25. I'd agree if it was Iraq... or another potential war-scenario.
