No worries I can understand some questions being asked 2000 times or not very intelligent. on the positive side, I received my TrackIR yesterday. Installed the soft- and hardware, tweaked the configuration with help of Youtube (Jabber video) and it works like a charm!! Ps. Yes I did pre-search the Jabber video to be ready when my hardware arrived. Next is to get zoom working (pre-searched Spudknocker youtube video).

hi Tim, I just bought one, with stock baseline profile, you mean right after calibrating you safe/export that file/settings? -
hi, I am sorry if my questions bother you. I haven't simmed in 25 years and just bought Virpil Hotas with DCS. Being a project manager for work I just try to collect as much relevant data to be able to start my 'project'. From what I read settings are one of them. They are at least intricate enough for people to post about in DCS forum and on YouTube. As an example (my gear takes another 3 weeks to arrive) I am reading a Hornet Guide by Chuck and write down every abbreviations in a word document, I am on page 167 of 626 of the Guide and am already on 6 pages of abbreviations which I read every morning to get acquainted with the terminology. This is how my brain works/prepares, sorry for that. Flying is hard enough so I am hoping to fall back on the experience of others for the peripherals if possible. Of course that doesn't mean I will change settings when I am into the game. Step one is get everything working and looking ok. step 2 is flying. 3 is optimizing once I am mission ready. Hi, I ordered the GTX3080 gaming early and was 167 on the backorder list when they came in by the 10's for weeks.... the wait was terrible I am now waiting for my HOTAS.

Thank you!

Hi Hiob, Thank you for your message. I am eager to learn but have been out of it for a while. I am now learning all the abbreviations from the FA-18 Hornet Guide, I have to configure and setup my Virpil Hotas and this.... I was hoping for shortcuts to start with my feet on the ground. But I guess there is not Step by Step I think.

Hi all, Robert here from the Netherlands, just ordered my Virpil HOTAS with the desk mounts and rudders.Had to split the order because of the weight Installed DCS, F/A-18C, persian gulf, supercarrier. Ordered TrackIR and a powered USB hub. 25 years ago I played Jane’s Longbow and DiD EF2000 & F22. Currently studying chucks Hornet Guide. Getting all the hardware to work and configured will be a challenge… any help and suggestion are welcome!! see you out there!

Lets Share Those HOTAS Profiles (Templates Included)

I just bought the MongoosT, the CM3 throttle and the rudders from Virpil. Haven't sim'd in 20 years and used to own Thrustmaster Hotas. Luxury with those were that you were able to upload other users their files so there were different configurations out there to try and easily install and return to. Does anyone use the Virpil Hotas icw TrackIR? -
Does anyone know if there is a Dutch skin available for the F/A-18?

Hi, I understood I needed a USB 3.0 powered hub to connect my Virpil Hotas. Am thinking of adding my mouse in the same hub (so I need at least 4 ports (VPC Hotas). Anu suggestion of the veteran users on what hub to use? (I read online that some 7 port hubs only supported 3 devices, so I want to order the right one)

Thank you!

hi, normally I would never ask any website to add me to their mailing list. But, can you be notified for Sales other than seeing it on the website?

Yes I agree, if you really need your mouse to do stuff... you might need to do something with that too. I have a DXRacer chair, I am now also starting to wonder if you can still sit comfortably while interacting with all these set up. You don't want to pull your stick into your chair. The more I research, the more questions I have..... -

When I measure my hands, where can I check if I match up? Does anyone know how much space/depth a deck mount needs on your desk... how far does it go onto your desk (I have 7,3 cm)? It's 7,5 cm -

Since I will be spending a lot of money (base - grip-throttle - 2 x table mounts) and maybe the rudders... I am watching a LOT of video. Can't find any about comparing mongoost vs Constellation... so far I am assuming constellation is more space sim oriented? -

Thank you. Just was on their website and could not find the base only option? Looked like Grips or Grips with base. Am I correct in thinking that they are a little bit more expensive as Virpil? I also did not see the throttle as something you can buy? (looking at EU site)
