  1. I want to configure the speedbrake as follows: - push a button and as long as I hold it, it goes up - push a button and as long as I hold it, it goes down - push a button once, and it closes. I wanted to use the following controls for that: For EXTEND/LShift + B it works like a charm (I push and it extends as long as I push the 4 way button in that direction, if I stop pushing, it stops extending). For RETRAC/LCtrl + BT it works like an OFF function (I press once and it goes all the way in. The only way to prevent it going in completely is to push EXTEND). OFF/B doesn't work at all, I press the button and the speedbrake stays out. Buttons tested via Virpil test tool & button confirmed working in DCS Controls. I would expect EXTEND and RETRACT to work similar but opposite of each other (keyboard controls seem to suggest too). But they don't, which seems like a bug. Example which should be possible: I want to break real fast to get into an advantage and Extend my airbreak to 90% by using RETRACT I want to be able to bring it down to f.i. 30%. When I am done, I want to push OFF and it retracts completelyly. The fact OFF doesn't do anything is a bug?
  2. thank you!! Found General, what are the UI layer categories?
  3. Hi, I had similar behaviour, I used a powered usb hub. When i stopped using that and plugged everything directly in my pc it worked like a charm. usb hub was sitecom, not some alibaba thing
  4. Same here. Luckily not in the game but at the end of a tutorial, 50% of the time I have to restart it.
  5. Nehhh would be amazing to get the looks and signs on there from the Dutch f16 or the f35!! edit your name on the side… how cool is that?
  6. I just started 3 days ago.. once I can fly the F/A-18 ok, then I will start adding!

  9. Any enthusiast to help me out?
  10. Yes time acc. works, you have to remember to turn it off before starting ha ha
  11. Hi, i read somewhere how to speed up tome, how to pause, Restart mission and was wondering if there was an overview of the game commands?
  12. Hi, I am traing the basic (landing) but it takes a while to go through introduction before you can fly. Is the a way to skip that and jump straight to flying? thanks

  14. I am maybe a bit out of tone, I have a sitecom powered USB hub 3.0 and it sometimes have trouble. which causes my devices not to be detected. Even when I have just one together with TrackIR installed. As a consequence every except TrackIR is now connected directly to my PC
  15. 3 years later and it is still inaudible!! (and I am actually sitting quite far from my screen so I can't read the text )
  16. Hi, Is there a setting where you can turn of the noise of the engines during a tutorial or increase the volume of the narrator? I am sitting quite far from my screen and find it hard to read the text so I'd like to listen to the explanation!
  17. Hi, When in the controls section, a control is mapped and the category is 'Special for Joystick' does that mean you can not map it to a button on a console?
  18. Awesome, forward is option 1 (AUTO), mid is option 7 (HALF) and backwards is option 5 (FULL). Thank you very much!!
  19. I have no idea how.. but somehow I had a binding For Joy_Z on my joystick for thrust. I removed that
  20. Hmm then I have an issue, my pedals move according to JOY_Z and so does my Throttle
  21. Ah.. don't know how to do that yet...
  22. Hi, i am on the same path as you. If you doubleclick the axis you are able to set some stuff. If you look at the bottom offers you options. I have opted for 3 button 0-20%, 41- 60% and 81-100% If you the move the lever you see 3 button light up. These you map to your logical buttons. Give me a pm if you need help with this. my question to you, there are a lot of flaps controls. To which would you map these 3?
  23. Hi, I assigned 3 buttons (can also do 4 or 5) to my Throttle lever axis and want to assign them to flaps, but there are quite a few options, I was thinking Neutral (or Auto) - down - fully down, but what DCS control do I bind them to? Auto - Down - Fully?
  24. Hi, New to hardware and the software. I just start configuring the hotas and also saw in the configuration tool that JOY_Z was assigned to multiple controls (Throttle and pedals). Are you saying that it is OK that the pedals and throttle both use JOY_Z because they are in the column of a different controller?
