If you buy via Orbx it only works on the DCS store i.e. you will have to enter the key they give you against your profile. The key is not compatible with steam. This is the same way the HB store works. You will be able to buy directly from the DCS Store. You will need to buy it on steam to work with steam. On the Orbx discord they confirmed it will be available via steam

Only thing I can suggest is to rename following folders under your saved games folder and then open DCS. Liveries Mods Scripts Open DCS and then then just go straight to the refueling mission and see if it works. Afterwards you can rename the folders back if no change (Delete the newly created ones if there). But it if it now works then we know something under those folders are causing the issue. DCS file corruption has been eliminate with the repair, unless your anti-virus is getting involved. Might want to add DCS as an exclusion and then re-run the repair if you did not have an exclusion. I am seeing errors in the log but they should not be causing this i.e. "Can't execute EDCORE (Main): Can't execute Lua file C:\Users\Vindy\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts\Export.lua - can't open 'C:\Users\Vindy\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\ScriptsTheWayTheWay.lua'"

Your log is showing cockpit errors, which I do not see in my log, and the refueling probe is there for me in the Refueling instant action mission. Line 991: 2024-04-30 21:15:12.295 ERROR APP (Main): Error: Unit [KC135MPRS]: Corrupt damage model. Line 1015: 2024-04-30 21:15:17.026 ERROR VISUALIZER (Main): ILV for cockpit 'Cockpit-F1EE' not found Line 1043: 2024-04-30 21:15:18.372 ERROR_ONCE DX11BACKEND (33448): texture 'BUFF_LEGACY_RADAR_MT' not found. Asked from '' Line 1044: 2024-04-30 21:15:18.511 ERROR_ONCE DX11BACKEND (39008): texture 'miragef1-common_4_spec' not found. Asked from '' You say you have run a repair. May select the option to 'search for extra files' when doing the repair. Delete your FXO and metashaders folders under 'Saved games' as your do have 2 metashader compilation errors. Otherwise I am out of ideas. it is strange that it works in MP but not SP

You have a PrefetchVirtualMemory error. I would do a memory test as well as check your storage device health. Your page file is only 4 GB but you do have 64 GB of memory so that should be okay. See

Simple. Then do not pre-order or buy EA. Buy the module when you think it is in a good state. But if people are happy to learn and grow with the module, regardless of how it changes, then that's fine too. You have a choice. I never understand why people make a big fuss out of this.

New "Flaming Cliffs 2024" aircraft questions (F-5E, F-86, Mig-15)
AdrianL replied to cfrag's topic in DCS: Flaming Cliffs
The FC version will be listed as a different aircraft entry, so no. He would have to release another version of the campaign, or include 2 versions of each mission. -
F-4E Phantom II Development Update and Release Delay Announcement
AdrianL replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
The thing is that you do not need to pre-order the second it is announced. You can wait until just before they actually release it. -
Look at time 6:32 in the video. He talks about it and you see him hiding it

I would recommend uploading this to 'User Files'. It would get a lot more coverage.

You need to submit the file to Avast as a false positive. They then analyze it and take it from there. Avast is likely picking up on the exe encryption and flagging it.

F-4E Phantom II Development Update and Release Delay Announcement
AdrianL replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
On stream, Tricker said he got the pre-release version of the F-15E for free to showcase. But when it got released to DCS he had to buy it as the pre-release no-longer worked. -
I highly doubt a multi-craft aircraft would be added to FC 2024, unless it was planned to become a FF module at some point. You would need to model both cockpits, AI interface to manage the other crews duties, etc. So would not be a cheap or quick module to implement. So I do not see F-111 or Su-24 soon.

This have been debated many times, and the answer was always no. No-one here knows what the DCS total sales numbers, retention figures, session play time, etc are so it is useless debating. Best people to decide is ED. All I know is that it will cause an absolute <profanity>-storm if they decide to go the subscription route.

Spudknocker did a preview of one of the missions. You can see the debrief at the end

FC2024 | Kola Development Progress | Virtual Carrier Wing 17
AdrianL replied to Graphics's topic in Official Newsletters
If the idea is to add more aircraft in the future, will they be added to FC2024? Or will we have a FC 2025, or FC2024.1? -
DCS crashes when trying to join Mission on own Dedicated Server
AdrianL replied to C525's topic in Multiplayer Bugs
@Flappie The devs should probably build in protection for the ' wsZonesStorage::operator=' error instead of just crashing DCS. Be in in the ME (do not allow units to be attached to zones) or when loading. Or figure out why it is only unhappy when on a dedicated server. -

DCS crashes when trying to join Mission on own Dedicated Server
AdrianL replied to C525's topic in Multiplayer Bugs
You have the same exception as in this thread. In your case it has something to do with a vehicle (woCar) attached to a zone. In the linked thread, it was a aircraft carrier attached to a zone. Worked locally but not on a dedicated server -
So if I run your track, I see your right MFD darkening. I take take control from the very start, it does not happen. If I start the track and then immediately take control as the right MFD darkens, I can press the 'Backlight Brightness' to brighten up the MFD again. So something is causing the 'Right MFCD DSP Decrease' bind to be pressed

F/A18E/F Super Hornets block 1 and BLock 2 E/F ( lot 26)
AdrianL replied to Kev2go's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Many threads on this. Basically there is not enough legally available public data to accurately model it at the moment.
