  1. Thanks for these compliments, I do appreciate them. Also curious, how many of you are usually playing this campaign?
  2. Happy Friday Mission 21 ready, for those who are enthusiastic about air combat. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3332430/

  4. Hi all, at first I thought I set something wrong in the ME but now I tend to think it is a multiplayer bug. I have created multiple triggers for different clients in a Multiplayer mission, these triggers will activate a radio transmission over a s specific frequency, when I played the mission with my friends (we tested 4 times already). We found that a radio speech will be muted/stopped if another player triggers another radio speech in a different frequency. I'm wondering if anyone else also encountered this issue before? And if there a better way I could find the reasons for this problem? The original post is here (maybe admin can merge both posts). Thanks a lot.
  5. Would love to see AI A-6 aircraft, top wish list.
  6. Thanks for the reply, however, i do put the files in the radio transmission, in different frequencies and different zones. If my setting was wrong, could you kindly advise how to set it via trigger.action.radioTransmission()? thanks.
  7. Hi there, Recently I created a multiplayer mission with many radio overs, but when me and my friends played the mission, we found that the radio will be interrupted if another player triggered another radio transmission, even though we were on different channels. I wonder is this normal (game design) or did I get the wrong setting for the radio? Are there any solutions for multiplayer to interact and trigger radios on different channels and they don't interfere with each other? here is the mission. Thanks. 8. I think so, in Operation North Cerberus Campaign, you need to ask Ground permission to start the engine after turning on the battery.
  9. After long time working, here comes mission 20. An on-call CAS mission to support ground troops engaging in street combat in a city. Tried my best to produce a real-world procedure with more than 200 radio overs for 4 twinship CAS flights, additional targets are available by DCS built-in JTAC. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3332267/
  10. For now no need for cash reciprocation but thanks very much, I'm already grateful that I have a relatively good job and stable income, so I could use my part-time to develop this campaign. Your enthusiasm is part of the reason I devote to this campaign for the community, if you enjoy it, please share it with more players and give feedback, cheers!
  11. Mission 19 is uploaded: Operation Hormuz Mission 19 (digitalcombatsimulator.com)
  12. try 35 knots wind and 70 turbulence, it's awesome
  13. Thanks for the explanation! Very much looking forward to the data cartridge function in DCS.
  14. Does this mean that IRL all PP coordinates are loaded from the data cartridge? and we can't input them from the UFC panel during cold start?
  15. Also want unlimited fuel option for AI (maybe in action - command drop list), otherwise it's a headache to design a deep strike mission with AI.
  16. This is exactly what we encountered in our squadron. Our current solution is never put two JTAC (or Tankers) in the same frequency, otherwise, you won't be able to communicate with them in multiplayer (even if they have different name and callsign)
  17. Just encountered the same problem and got to this post, I also find that in the game JSOW doesn't counter wind by itself but need manually select an upwind designation point in my FLIR to counter the wind effect. So the question is does AGM-154A in real-life has a built-in wind correction function? Is wind correction implemented in the game? Thanks.

  19. Just come to say mission 17 is released, cheers! Operation Hormuz Mission 17 (digitalcombatsimulator.com)
  20. Cold start is set by default in this campaign, you can change it to hot on ramp in the mission editor yourself. But it would be more fun to read the mission briefing and setup navigation/weapon/countermeasure according to each mission's unique requirments and objectives.
  21. Recently I'm trying to figure out the answers for this same question, just read in the ABCD manual that for carrier landing, max asymmetric load is 14500 ft-lbs for above 33,000 lbs and 17000 ft-lbs for less than 33,000 lbs, but is there a DDI page to show current playload asymmetric calculation or do i have to calculate myself? if I have to calculate, is it the distance from centerline to the pylon times the weapon weight? Thanks.
  22. You will encounter all kinds of weird bugs in DCS, just like in real life.
