  1. Was curious what everyone would think about a Zveno SPB module for use in conjunction with the I-16, It was a highly successful aircraft carrier during WWII. I thought it would be a nice and unique addition to the roster. In this configuration the I-16s would be able to carry two 250kg(550lb) bombs!
  2. The Moskva is a ASW Carrier as well! They could be together!
  3. Blufor can have some fun stuff! You don't see a helicopter slinging sparrows! Or bullpups!
  4. Mi-26, H-21, H-34, Ka-27/28/29, Mi-6 Something cool!
  5. Very rudimentary in comparison, but also very cool!
  6. Six missile capability would be nice for the L! (And a co-pilot to shoot em!)
  7. And maybe, just maybe a Moskva carrier to go along with it mayhaps?
  8. I would buy the heck out of this!
  9. After going through my sources I see that you were right, your comment about the engines is what made me caught my mistake. However, the problem in you being right is that the Hip E is what is being advertised and sold, where as the Mi-8MTV2 is the Hip H. I had wondered for the longest time why this helicopter had such a meager loadout and now it all makes so much sense. That being said I would love to get the VSM-1 mine system for the machine and if we're stretching, The S-24 rockets and R-60 missiles that were tested with atleast 1 Hip in Afghanistan!
  10. Actually the Hip-E was the first variant of the platform to use missiles, having a special variant of the Fleyta missile for use on the Mi-8 specifically, later on it would be able to use Malyutkas. The E designation was actually related to its new armament beyond just the simple rockets of the old version, mounting four missiles on top rail pylons. I too would like to see these beauts in action and we're lucky to have the exact variant that used em!nullnullnull
  11. Xeemix "Trust in BARCAP" they said...
  12. 100% back this, we love big helis
  13. 100% back this, could make some really short runways viable for the modules like the F-16, F-5E etc. that have hooks!
  14. With all of the excitement around the new FC3(FC4?) content going around I wanted to suggest some content I always thought was missing from the FC3 assortment, helicopters! Particularly a pack similar to the existing FC3 pack but focused towards rotary craft, in that vein I would suggest a mix of blufor and redfor aircraft! Starting off swinging I would like the suggest the absolutely Gargantuan Mi-26. Used by over a dozen countries the Mi-26 is a massive transport helicopter thats capable of going pound for pound with the C-130 in terms of cargo capacity, I think it would be an absolute rad addition to the game alongside benefitting from the simplification of being a FC3 helicopter. Switching over to the blue side, we have what I consider to be the poster child for piston-powered helicopters the H-34. A medium transport helicopter the H-34 served in the Algerian war, Vietnam, the Six-Day war and even the Falklands war in the form of the British Wessex varaint. This super cool helicopter has one of the meanest start up sounds and even has the means to launch a massive bullpup missile! If you wanted to get cute with it you could even include a long hull Essex that carried these types and repurpose it for other aircraft in the future! Right, back on over to the red side we've got another distinct helicopter, the Ka-29. This adorable baby boy and brother to the already existing Ka-50 is essentially the equivalent to a naval hind in terms of capabilities. It served in the Chechen war as well as its Ka-27 base model in the Syrian civil war. Of course its got the unique coaxial rotors Kamov craft are known for and could be a perfect pair for the much smaller Moskva-class heli-carrier! Now, for the grand finale! The one, the only, the flying banana, The H-21! The H-21 served in Algeria and Vietnam armed with a plethora of different rocket and machinegun systems, however she served largely as an amazing transport craft. But, turns out she could take a lot of punishment which led her to be used more and more in ground attack roles until her eventual retirement. Used by a surprising amount of countries I think she'd make the perfect last quirky copter to our list. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on these suggestions and to hear what kinds of FC3 helis you'd like in DCS!
  15. I'm assuming a majority of all the content announced coming for the supercarrier module is focused towards the blufor stuff, just wanted clarification.
  16. A Su-25UTG and or MiG-29K in FC fidelity would be amazing in terms of using pre-existing frames, or hell, in the future, a Yak-38 and the first FC level helicopter, a Ka-27 maybe?
  17. I would do everything in my power to get a Yak-38 module in DCS.
  18. I love the MI-26 but the idea of having the Ka-27 with potentially the Moskva class helo carrier is just too much!
  19. Nice simple flying machines, I don't got much left in the noggin to learn too many more FF modules. FC3 is easy to fly and the big variety of planes is really great.
  20. I would love to fly a F-106 or a Au-24!
  21. Would love for a much simpler little beast to take to the skies! I absolutely loved the Mini-gunship program and found this gem oh so long ago where it captured my imagination!
