  1. Suite 8. I'm the minority but I would happily pay and upgrade fee to get a suite 7 with HMCS but that ain't gonna happen.
  2. You must have been doing something wrong on start-up because that shouldn't have happened and the real A-10 crew chief part of my died a little reading how you started #2. :pilotfly:
  3. Not one pilot I have talked to in the real 76 or 75th has ever said anything about wing drop.
  4. Place into your saved games folder and all works fine. The instructions will be updated with the next version I'm sure.
  5. It works. You just have to install in your saved games folder now.
  6. Have no idea what you're on about, station 3 is the sniper pod the original post made mention that a litening pod was on 9, which it is not.
  7. Illumination flares are described in the DCS A-10C manual.
  8. Not a litening pod, read my earlier post.
  9. Station 9 in that video isn't a TGP it's an illumination flare pod. And we haven't carried sniper pods at Moody in over 6 years even with suites 7 through 8. Although that video was uploaded in Sept 2016 it's an old video, we haven't gone to afghanistan in many years. That A-10 is likely suite 5. So not that much newer than what we have in DcS.
  10. Nice!
  11. Although I'm not big on prop aircraft, seeing these every time I'm down at Moody AFB has me interested in the virtual version.
  12. I'm working on it, got some good shots a couple weeks ago during my drill weekend.
  13. We deploy with them, exact numbers I won't go into.
  14. Preordered mine yesterday. The first version was great can't wait to get my hands on this one!
  15. I doubt it. ED developed the desk top simulator, it was used for pilots during the transition from A to C models. They may have done up to suite 5 but I highly doubt anything further than that.
  16. From my perspective, and I could be wrong, but IMO the 3-3 isn't necessarily great for brand new pilots. They should have a basic understanding of systems otherwise many items in the document won't be clear to them. That being said, I've recently retired (for the time being anyways) from the 476th so Eddie or Stuka may agree with you and add your suggestion:
  17. Very nice! I wish I had the talent (or someone developed) the equivalent with USAF equipment (tow bar, Coleman, bread van, etc).
  18. The canopy breaker tool is a last resort if the canopy can't be raised manually. I've only seen it used a handful of times personally.
  19. INS was the original source for navigation in the A-10A prior to the gps updated. HARS was always a backup.
  20. IIRC this is known.
  21. I just checked the link in post 1 and it works for me.
