You must wait 4 minutes while the EGI aligns. Once "INS NAV READY" is flashing, you're good to go with the TAD and EAC.

Change the window size of the game to 1280x720. That will then record, full frame, in 720HD. Should make reading text a lot easier. You could also use the trick of recording at 10 FPS and speed the film up 4x in post. You'll need to add back in all sound effects though. But recording size will be much smaller. Basically fly the mission, then playback at quarter speed (Alt-Z twice I think?) and record the track at full frame 10FPS. Then work magic in Vegas.

Makes a huge difference, it's up to you if that difference is worth not eating for two months. :)

I never saw that till after I'd updated, but all that seems to do for me is change that text to show me the version number I'm using. I think since they have just released the dedicated firmware tool linked in the first post of this thread you should probably use that to update firmware on your WH.

The system might not tell you the key combinations for HOTAS, but I will! :)

With PC powered off, if I unplug and plug the throttle back in the 5 LEDs flicker once. If the backlights are ON when I shut down and restart they turn OFF as soon as the PC posts. They turn back on when my other USB devices light up, just after the "Starting Windows" animation finishes. Sleep mode and shutting down does nothing, the backlight stays on till I unplug the USB cable or post again. This happens with both the front and rear (direct onboard) USB ports. Drivers, TARGET and Firmware all updated:

You can either replace the existing ones in the training folder and run them from the Training menu or leave them all in your missions folder and run them as normal missions.

Not working for me. Turn off my PC and two minutes later the lights were still bright and shiny. Firmware updated just fine.

Does it fix the "always on green glow" of the throttle backlight?

I didn't make these skins, these are just screenshots of the ones that are included with the current beta version. Hopefully with Beta 4 they'll fix some of the errors and add new ones like MO ANG. :) Beta 3 added some new ones, so there's hope!

Make sure you're using the Updated Training Missions and not the ones included with Beta 3. Also make sure you have an adult nearby to explain the big words to you. :pilotfly:

I had to get an old $1 copy of LOMAC then install FC2 over it, very messy. :)
