  1. Here's the steps to view the radio panel that's hidden under the throttles if you don't have TrackIR:
  2. You need to make sure that your generators and APU are all on and you've set your radio to TR before you can use the radio. See the radio startup sequence in this video: If you don't have TrackIR you can use the following key commands to center the AM radio without starting the engines: RShift+RCtrl+Numpad / till you can see the stick. RShift+RCtrl+Numpad 4 all the way (Left MFCD should be centered now) Numpad 2 to tilt down and the AM Radio should be centered now and readable. (Use Numpad * to zoom in a bit to make it easier to read and Numpad 5 then Numpad ENTER to reset when you're done.)
  3. Get this, best of both worlds. :)
  4. For those of us who aren't familiar with flying, what exactly is a "radio check"?
  5. There really should be no reason to use TARGET with DCS: A-10C and the TM WH. To map a HOTAS button to TeamSpeak, such as Mic Switch Up, follow the instructions to reset your throttle to allow TS mapping found in this post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1031398&postcount=1
  6. Yeah, I found that out by trying to take a screenshot of the options page!
  7. Even though it says GROUND SAFE too. I, well, my ground crew, found this out the hard way the other night.
  8. Master Arm?
  9. Hold the Ctrl button on the left side of the keyboard then press the Up Arrow key. Left Control and PageUp would be just that, LCtrl+PageUp. :)
  10. I'm still using target labels. Even with them on I still find it difficult to pinpoint a target, but without them targeting is so difficult that it's just not enjoyable.
  11. That's how it's listed in the manual on page 78...
  12. I use the default Z and X keys. Only time I really end up using rudder is during take off and landing when my throttle is going to be max or idle the whole time so taking my left hand off throttle doesn't matter much to me.
  13. 1. AN/AAQ-28 Litening II AT Targeting Pod 2. It's not used by the A-10C I guess?
  14. Yes, you can use TrackIR on Windows 64 and DCS: A-10C as long as you use the DCS A-10C_x86 32bit client. There is also an involved workaround for using the 64bit client, but personally I'm waiting for NaturalPoint to get off their butts and make a 64bit driver already.
  15. You get to watch as they fall into the ocean after being hit with your SW. :)
  16. There's like a dozen premade programs already which cover most combinations, can't you use one of them?
  17. You want a discount from $18? That's about as cheap as you'll get it. :) Media section should be available regardless really.

    ILS

    hehe that's the video I linked. :)
  19. Just played this mission and it was a lot of fun! Really great use of weather, high tension, wonderful JTAC work. The only problem was I got 0 time logged and no score for it, which after such a lengthy mission was a huge let down (running scared and blind trying to land safely!) Is there a reason one mission gives score/time and another doesn't?
  20. I've been kinda pumping the breaks while I land, seems to work OK.
  21. Oops! And here I was calling you dnme all this time! :megalol:
  22. I've had this happen a few times in busy areas. Tried turning down your graphics a bit?

    ILS

Not a track, but this is a good video of it:
  24. Tried the A2A one tonight and had pretty bad results. I was able to hold a 236 KIAS speed pretty well and level flight. I found, locked and shot down the first Su pretty easy. I could not for the life of me find the other one. Especially less so once it started racetracking! I was essentially squinting and trying to follow the damn thing on the map but just was having NO luck getting eyes on it again. Finally I spotted it and flew towards it getting a lock with the TGP. Doing so changed my altitude and speed to the point where I almost overshot it. While I was slowing down the game finally realized I was near it and told me to get level altitude and make the HUD SOI. I did so, then it turned and I lost it in the terrain. About 20 minutes later and two circles across the water I finally caught a slight glimpse of it's pixel lost in the HUD symbology. I said f' it and shot it down with my other Sidewinder. Lets just say, no more Air to Air for me thanks.
  25. Hopefully will be part of the patch that allows the games to talk to each other.
