Hi Floyd I do understand your enthusiasm about online stuff (and everyone else for that matter) but it just sounds far too intense for me! I like the idea of co-op mission flying though! Sort of fighting terrorists together :) Mizzy

Don't blame you :) Its 1:10am here and I am shagged, I can't keep my eyes open so all I can say is nity nity. Oh, Kami!! its a girl? sorry to ask, Findlay is 21 months and full of hell :) PM me about Kami Iggy please! Nite Mizzy

Your a Charmer Iggy :) Would you like to change Findlay's nappy for me at this time of the hour in the UK?? Oh I forgot, you are from beautiful Denver :D That said, you are forgiven :) Greetings Iggy. Mizzy

a) You have answered your own question :) b) you are making your own value judgement as to how people like to play offline ;) Please don't, as it has nothing to do with you! "Greetings to the AI pilots" .....It's your opinions, its much better that you remember it's your opinion. Mizzy
-
Yep you certainly did :D Geez one or two here take things waaay too seriously on this issue and this light hearted poll :) Another reason I don't play online LOL. Mizzy

You forgot something!! Maybe I personally don't want to fly online because that's my choice, NOT just because I can't play the game very well ;) I just don't take computer games that seriously but thats my choice also. It is appearing to me that most here obviously do play online and, wait for it..... yep its THEIR choice, it also seems to be a much more serious affair than I first suspected, I am afraid that is definately not for me and its my choice. It is pretty simple math Lawndart, I made it that way. Do you play online? its a simple yes or no. I am not bothered how much you play online, 1% or a 100% its imaterial, you play online...get it! ;) The other answer is more simple, No I don't play online 100% Is it clear now :) Others don't seem to have a problem wink wink, so maybe its just you :D Mizzy

Best wishes in your RL :) Great to see the site back up. Thank you. Mizzy X

Thank you all for lucid accounts of why and how you play Lock on. I don't play online as stated because maybe it would be no point as I am extremely poor at fighting and my standard is a joke. However I do realise the attraction of playing on line (human instead of AI = much better) but I am just never going to be any good so that is the main reason for me not playing on line. That is not say I won't ;) Mizzy

I personally don't but wish to try and see what it is like. I am very poor at air combat so I am a easy target and a sitting duck but I would like to try some day. Mizzy

OT: The future of aircraft propulsion
Mizzy replied to Poopskadoop's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
We all know what the propulsion of the future is and its been around since the mid 1960s!! Basically its using dylithium crystals for the warp engines and warp factor 8. When we move from fossil fuels and discover crystolic fusion (as opposed to double AAs) this will help us to reach Star Command. Hope this helps anyone who was in doubt about the future travelling arrangements. Mizzy. -
Alredy looking beter than black shark
Mizzy replied to sixer's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Black Shark looks MUCH MUCH better than EECH. It looks like a poor version of Lock On without any reality. Mizzy -
Flanker all the way for me. Mizzy

Yes but if you are 'testing' don't you feel you need a more rounded education in LOMAC ;) Mizzy
-
How about the British Harrier ;) Not quite physically impossible is it! Amazing airframes the Su, it took the allied airframes (in the shape of the F-22) a great deal longer to even do a basic cobra. Russian aircraft can do backflips :D Mizzy

Mizzy replied to Glowing_Amraam's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Well GA I thought you would be MUCH older than you are :( I like mature men but in this case I will make an exception :) Wonderful productions you do and thank you for your work. Mizzy -
What happened? I missed coming here when the forums were down, what happened I wonder! Regards Mizzy

How Does ED Turn a Profit...or Do They?
Mizzy replied to ericinexile's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
So you are personally looking for entertainment in your simulations, not necessarily hi fidelity;) We must now beg to differ, you understand that! Mizzy -
How Does ED Turn a Profit...or Do They?
Mizzy replied to ericinexile's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
You have completely missed my point GG, does it matter if it is a tank, a submarine, an airframe!!!. If you want true high grade fidelity of you chosen war craft, you must pay fo it in a different way to GAMES ;) hint hint. Mizzy -
How Does ED Turn a Profit...or Do They?
Mizzy replied to ericinexile's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Do you want LOMAC to be a game or a high fidelity combat simulation? This is my point;) there are so many posts here about this is not simulated right and that is not right.... blar blar blar. We cannot have it all ways can we ;) Mizzy -
How Does ED Turn a Profit...or Do They?
Mizzy replied to ericinexile's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Eagle Dyamics are a very inteligent software development company with very intelligent people that are cross culture based. We have Nick Gray from the 'Fighter Collection' and Igor Tishin (or rather Dr Igor Tishin) that know what they are doing and the resourses thay have to produce it. That is why we have to wait for BS and any other hi fi flight sims from them as they work to a very (VERY) different business model to the games development studios. I personally would like to see something like the developers of 'Steel Beasts' are doing and start offering a pro flight sim business model that costs pro money, not game money!!!!!! For instance, I would much rather pay £200 for a properly developed military flight simulation than £49 for Microsoft generic crap ;) Its all about what this community is all about.. if we continue to pay game class money for what we want as true combat flight simulations, we will get what ever anyone can afford to produce for game quality simulations. Its time we moved our simulation requirments to another market level and that is up to US to do so. My little 2 dollars worth. Mizzy. -
Nopey dopy....no virus whatsoever. Mizzy

Personally speaking, I would like the FMs left to ED engineers, not the community! They have a much better understading of all that stuff than we do ;) Mizzy
