  1. That's the main problem, I have created a livery from the psd file, but I have no idea how to deal with the dds file.
  2. 1.Ctrl+W tell AI to arm weapons 2.Turn on fire control switch 3.Choose USPL 4.Press weapon release button Failed But you can dispense with CPG's "OPER" button KMGU bug.trk
  3. If you accidently drop KMGU like a bombs, in F6 view it displays as MPS-410(bottom left in the img)
  4. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/cn/files/3317488/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/cn/files/3317352/ If we don't have layered textures, how they edit those blades?
  5. I downloaded the texture template given on the official website, but it does not have the texture files for the cockpit, engine exhaust infrared signature suppressor and propellers. I can only find some dds files in the game folder, but I'm not sure which file is related to the part mentioned above, and dds only has one layer, which is not suitable for editing.
  6. From what I learned now, is this right? However, I am still not quite sure how the GSPD is calculated after setting it up.
  7. I would like to ask if all of you here have used the ToT function. I participated in a mission a few days ago and needed to rush to waypoint 3 at a certain time. The line connecting waypoint 3 to waypoint 4 is our attack route, so the time requirement is relatively strict. Our waypoints are all stored in SEQ1, we all use Zulu time, choose waypoint 3, and set ToT. But there are some problems in the task execution, because we are not very clear about the calculation logic of ToT. I had no problems flying, but none of my wingmen understood the logic behind this feature, such as how it calculates the time if I fly away from the waypoint. All I know is that it has something to do with the waypoints selected in the flight plan, and I see different airspeeds required when switching to different waypoints. The manual also only explains the operation of this function.
  8. Yes, this aircraft is too old. All animations have very low frame rates
  9. ACLS is not something magic, it may get worse I suggest that you make the velocity vector not deviate too much in the horizontal direction before you engage A/P, otherwise ACLS will drag your aircraft left and right into the sea. In Wags video, the vector used to indicate is slightly to the right, and if it's too far off, it would cause the autopilot to over-intervene. You don't need to worry too much about things in the vertical, ACLS will wait until you enter the correct glide slope to lower the height.
  10. How you check the mission settigns? I changed the suffix name of the trk file to miz, and after opening it in the task editor, I found that random failures was not enabled.
  11. I checked it every time, I'm pretty sure it's on the right position I guess MP tracks should be same with SP, just open it in DCS
  12. New file has been posted
  13. sorry for that, but I spawned immediately when I join the server I'll check it later
  14. All my operating procedures are the same as before, but only in this server (a training server), my 109 will encounter the problem of fuel pressure drop I try to do some smooth maneuvers, but it happens every time after flying for a while. 109 in the server has MW-50 enabled, so I don't think it's a problem with the wrong MW-50 option switch. In this trk file, I didn't intend to enable MW-50 at first, but I encountered this problem just after I enabled MW-50. So I'm not sure if it's a coincidence. After a fuel pressure drop issue, my controls would respond sluggishly and the aircraft would become difficult to control. After landing, I performed a few pushes and pulls of the throttle to demonstrate the change in fuel pressure. I can't tell if it's a bug/operating issue/specification of the aircraft/has a hidden trigger edit:sorry for the wrong file, new trk file has been updated 新人训练房 v5.0-20230507-153233.trk
  15. 1. With full throttle, I think I still need to turn it on manually, otherwise the coolant temperature will reach 115℃ 2. I heard that some people will open flaps in low-speed turnfight to gain an advantage. I know 109 may be more suitable for BZ, but I can't find specific techniques and parameters for K4 turnlight on Google. 3. I realized that 4. For now I gonna stay higher and practise SA
  16. Guess I asked a question that no one bothered to read, because it's too broad. I'm desperate to learn everything about the K4 right now, so I'm asking a hasty question. But I found that there are very few introductions about K4 on the Internet, and all the videos tutorial about DCS's K4 stay in basic tutorials. I believe that everyone's flying principles should be the same: go home alive. Now, from what I've read, 109 has a ferocious MW-50 (but quite a few PVP servers disable it). So we use BZ tactics as much as possible to ensure our survival. BZ requires extremely high visual ability and shooting skill, so I will spend lots of time to practice it later. But the engine management and some flight parameters I'm still confused. What I can do now is to fully open the cooling plate when the coolant temperature is too high, and then set it to auto mode after cooling. This way I at least ensure that the engine doesn't fail halfway. For hovering, I don't know the STR of 109, so I don't know how much speed and angle of flaps to use to hover. All I can do is when I accidentally get into a dogfight, I can use full power to circle and make sure I don't stall. If the opponent does not have enough energy, then I can reduce the throttle to shoot. If the opponent still has some energy, then I may leave the battle, try to use a powerful engine to widen the energy gap, and conduct another round of BZ. The battle with spitfire is like a nightmare, you can't win in a circle at all, all you can do is keep BZ. In my dogfight practice with my friends, I understood a truth. A fighter like the 109, just run when you can't win a BZ. A fighter like the spitfire, just hovering when you can't run. In this way, the propeller battle seems to have become a bit boring, different fighters are like fighting in completely different dimensions. So I don't know what the next step is now, I guess everyone in the server is just relying on some skill and luck to see if they can strike first, and then enjoy a happy return flight. I actually enjoy the takeoff and landing process of propeller planes, but the 109 is a fighter, and no matter how beautiful the scenery on the ground is, you still have to go back to the battle in the sky. That's why I wrote so many fragmented thoughts.
  17. That make sense, thanks a lot
  18. I know I shouldn't. But I still don't understand the logic, why ACLS will change CPL TCN to CPL HDG
  19. Why does selecting CPL mode in A/P mode enter CPL HDG instead of CPL TCN when establishing a Link 4 connection? (I do boxed TCN in HSI every time) Although I am able to manually correct and maintain the heading, when I try to use A/P to take a rest, it always causes me to deviate further from the course line due to entering CPL HDG. I can provide a trk file if necessary
  20. I really wish I could plug the red button on ThinkPad onto my throttle, I guess this should be closer to the feel of a real TDC
  21. AFAIK, not implemented in DCS
  22. I also very much hope that this feature can be modeled, because people often use this capability with impunity. Edit: Sorry, because of my poor English comprehension, I have misunderstood the original meaning of the whole post
  23. I hope they can give a option to keep and select the old texture high resolution texture may cause performance problems to some players
  24. Our F18 in DCS, except JDAM, the terminal options of other GPS guided weapons have not been implemented
