I had zero issues, but that could also be controller related and not sim related necessarily. Does your button mapping give a continuous pulse when you press and hold or does it only press and release regardless of whether you hold or not?

It has nothing to do with the PP anymore. It can all be done under PP1. Some of the other stuff in Wag’s original video will have to be scrapped. Coords now have to be loaded to each bomb, not PP programs. And I tested it, I think Friday, and it worked perfectly. You have to select QTY and box the applicable stations after loading the coords. I would also presume you have to keep the pickle button depressed to consent all stations being released. Keep in mind I only tested with JDAMS so JSOW could offer completely different results.

Here’s the short answer. The ‘old’ way the JDAMS were programmed was incorrect. The PP was what the coords were loaded to. In reality, that’s not how it works as coords are loaded to the bomb. You now need to step through the stations and load to the bomb itself. It’s different, but it’s correct now. As far as QTY release, you can either ripple all 4 on 1 target, ripple 4 on 4 separate targets, or a mix of the two. The QTY option just allows you to do so with one pickle press instead of 4.

I know this might have went a slight bit unnoticed considering all the other stuff thats going on...but keep in mind...ED provided us an answer to all our griping and complaining about the JDAM logic. :) And oh by the way...QTY release works like it should now too ;) Program your stations, box which stations you want on release...and enjoy! Kudos to them for making that 100 times better....

I’m almost 95% sure MOHO has both, Vegas/Eglin has -229s as well as the Heath. Seymour has -220s.

I don’t think any aircraft out there have the capability of holding different weapon types But... Not sure what capability the sim will get, but many aircraft have the capability of carrying the same weapon type, with different fuse type. I.E. JPF and DSU-33 on the same pylon.

There is no GPS unit in the nose of a standard JDAM, not sure where you are getting that info. And if you are referring to the GPS puck, that is on the a** end of the tail.

It’s a fairly safe bet your original post in this thread was not speakig of sim coding... Any modern US aicraft, minus the A-10, is going to be uncontrollable without hydro as all the actuators require it. That goes for the 18, 15, 16...the list goes on. As long as the engines are spinning and driving the AMADs, there can still be hydo pressure...and that doesn’t mean the engines have to be “on” either. As far as what DCS models in terms of mechanical functionality...you’ll have to take that up with them.

Lol. I am very intimate with what the F-15 does, and doesn’t do. My time around it numbers in the tens of thousands of hours. The F-15 actually has more control authority with CAS than without. 1-2-54. It’s all there for reading in the flight manual. It’s not exactly hidden. The aicraft still has the capability of staying in air...

And you are wrong...the F-18 has many of the same components. It’s not an F-16.

C & E are more alike than they are different. C & E will both still fly without AFCS

Both the F-15(C,D,E) and the F/A-18C have mechanical connections to the flight control surfaces. I’m not sure where you are sourcing you info from...but it’s wrong.

You have a lot of your information wrong.

Not sure how it’s coded in the game...but WPs are WPs...and that is not really PP (present position). With straight INS, you need to input PP manually into the system. IRL, the INUs have a battery that retains the info. With the way the new stuff works, it is GPS assisted so the GPS pulls in the coords and hands off to the INU. INS is not really just about your location on the map, it is also used to know how the aicraft is oriented in 3D space.

TGPs have been used in the past as a crutch, or poor man’s IRST, to bridge the technology gap, I.E USAF F-15Cs flyibg with SNIPER. In terms of actual IRST capability, the US is fielding IRST pods.

Mich is done through the display interface, but there are come sensor, CMD, and ICMS switches that are on the rear seat’s console.

That would all depend on how they coded the sim. We of course usually have keyboard keybonds for everything so, if you didn’t have to be in the back seat to use them, then sure.
