  1. Just tried again except this time I jumped into another Viper from cold start at the same airbase, rather than land and re-arm. Exactly the same issues, or at least some of them (no threat rings or SAM indications on the HAD). INS alignment all fine. Looks like it's something to do with the second sortie, or perhaps just that server? Dr Spankle No probs - how do I do that please?
  2. Hi everyone and thank you all, as usual, for your help. I've narrowed down the issues to them all happening after landing and re-arm/refuel in Multiplayer. So far I've had the issues I mentioned above, and now this morning I had the TGP cursor moving in the opposite direction to the input, and the HAD showing only search radars despite an SA2 and 3 showing on the RHWR (and firing on me!). The first mission I fired a HARM and then a JSOW at a SAM site and everything worked as it should. I landed, refueled and re-armed and went back to repeat the process and it was very buggy. When the TGP cursor was moving the wrong way on the HSD, the pod picture was moving in the correct orientation. Now, this was directly ahead of me so this is clearly wrong. As a bit of background I'm ex Air Force, now a commercial pilot and I regularly use a turret camera as part of my job, so I understand the vagaries of its use, and this was just plain wrong. All that said, I'm more than happy to admit if I'm doing something wrong, but it seems odd that after a quick turnaround on the ground I lose the ability to repeat a process I managed some 20 mins previously ... There does seem to be a bit of chatter on here about similar issues post turnaround. Is there anything I can do to g some sort of file of the mission? Dr Spankle Yes there on the first mission, not there after re-arming and launching again to the same targets. Dr Spankle
  3. Thanks everyone I'll try that - in the meantime all the threat rings have disappeared from the HSD! Any ideas where I'm being dumb here Same theatre as before (Spudknocker's Server Syria) and it's very busy down there! Similarly, none of the threats appeared on the HAD. I swear I did exactly the same on this mission as I did on the previous one! Dr Spankle
  4. Nope that doesn't work - I did try that. If I press that the whole screen changes to a blank screen with STBY in contrast invert in the bottom right of the MFD. Dr Spankle
  5. I've had this a few times now playing solo and online. When I power up the TGP it powers up ok but then goes blank after it times out. The buttons on that MFD don't work after this point. I've flown the exact same mission and sometimes this happens and sometimes it works as it should. My cockpit setup involves switching FCR on the left MFD for TGP, and setting HSD on the bottom centre OSB on the right MFD. If there's a way to record the fault log somehow I can do this (if someone tells me how ...). I've also had the INV button dissapear from the SMS page (but I didn't get a picture of this). It seems to happen when I have a mixed A-G loadout such as HARM and JSOW. I fire the HARMs then try to switch to the JSOW to mop up the rest of the SAM site but when I try to cycle through the A-G weapons I get the SMS page without the INV button and can't change to the JSOW. I've tried cycling into A-A and then back to A-G, tried DGFT and MRM overide modes then back to A-G and I get the same thing: the SMS page but no INV button. Maybe I'm being a goof but it doesn't happen every time, and I'm fairly sure I'm doing the same thing each time and have a pretty good grasp of the avionics. Your help would be most appreciated ... Cheers, Dr Spankle
  6. You, Sir, are a genius. And a very helpful one at that. Thank you so much! Dr Spankle
  7. In-Game looks like this: Windows display settings:
  8. Hang on - found it ... Unfortunately that loads like this now ... I can't access the settings icon to revert either! Any ideas what I should try? Dr Spankle
  9. That's amazing, thanks so much. I don't have that folder in Config though. See attached. Do I need to create the folder or put it somewhere else? There are a couplke of Lua files in OptionsPresets if that helps? Dr Spankle
  10. Not sure how to do that - I just used the option that was already there in the drop-down menu. I haven't created anything new. It works perfectly during the game, just not in the Mission Editor. Do you still need the file and can you tell me where it is please? Cheers, Ds Spankle
  11. Well again, I'm pleasantly astonished that people would go to these lengths! So here goes and thank you in advance: I have a 32" 3840 x 2160 as my main screen, and my old 24" 1920x1080 as my left monitor. It's actually positioned below the main screen. As the second monitor is a lot wider than it is tall I was hoping to put both MFCDs on it and just leave the main one for the normal cockpit view. In Windows it is set up as the main monitor on the right and the 24" on the left. If the MFCDs couls appear as square then that would be amazing. As it is I have the radar on the 2nd monitor and it is stretched to fill the whole screen. I don't mind a bit of unused real estate on the 2nd monitor if need be. Once again thank you so much for helping. Dr Spankle
  12. Wow - thanks guys. That's way too in-depth for me, although I appreciate your efforts! I was kinda hoping it could be incorporated into the drop-down options on the settings though, so that lazy morons like me could just click that option! At the minute under Monitors on the System tab I have "Camera + LMFCD automatic placement" selected and that puts the radar on the 2nd monitor (without me having to do anything too technical). I was hoping that we could get an option to place both MFCDs on a second monitor. It's not the end of the world if we can't but if you don't ask ... Cheers, Dr Spankle
  13. When I set up dual monitors with "Camera+ LMFCD Automatic Placement" the map section of the Mission Editor is displaced off to the left, and a large blue blank portion appears to the right of the map. When I click on the map, the action happens to the left of my cursor by the same width as the blank portion. So if I try to add an aircraft to an airfield it appears approx 1/4 of the width of my screen to the left of where I clicked. On the attached picture I have clicked on Batumi and the aircraft has appeared over the sea. All subsequent clicking results in whatever it is I'm trying to place appearing the same distance left of the mouse cursor. I can work around this by reverting to the single screen option and resolution and then switching back to fly the mission. Cheers, Dr Spankle
  14. I have the Left MFCD on my second monitor, which is easily big enough to display both MFCDs together and still be way larger than they are in the cockpit view. Could we have a 2 screen option to show the cockpit and both MFCDs please? As far as I can see from the drop down menu this isn't a listed option. Cheers, Dr Spankle
