  1. Actually they will. That's the point of thread topics. And people who use forums know how they work. It's not terribly uncommon to keep things "on topic". No offense intended here, but anything not related to F-4E is off topic. It's actually a 100% reasonable request to ask people keep a thread topic, on topic. It's about the least controversial request that could possibly be made in a forum.
  2. Thanks! Had a little free time today so I made the helmet.
  3. I"m currently working some 1984 VF-21
  4. That's a good eye for detail dude! But in this case it is actually correct. What Lance said above is correct regarding the details that get included and the methods of getting them and possible restrictions to sharing some reference material.
  5. Please say it's these pods....
  6. Final Version. With custom Helmet and Patches. Custom Xtank(currently requires json file edit). Custom Roughmets and Normals throughout. Added missing T-ILS panel, Doppler radar under wing, Fixed the Pilot so he's no longer cross eyed! LOL. Should hopefully be in a future Viggen Update. Added Details from the Civilian version which is flying.

  7. I wouldn't stay frustrated for too long if I were you. Also, I'm a paying Tomcat customer, like everyone else. Just to be transparent.
  8. That's from my VF-31 Liveries from the 1991 Med Cruise. Those liveries were meticulously created to try to recreate every RL detail that was viewable including the weathering patterns and corrosion control patterns. I also added the early gun vents via removing the diffuse textures in those areas and creating the Roughmets and Normals to mask the areas. The mesh is 3D geometry so there's only so much that can be done to create the illusion, but IMHO, it's done about is good as you could make it without recreating the geometry mesh. Enjoy.
  9. uuuh....I still need to add a few things. Right now it's using BORTS. But I'm going to make it specific Tail number. Add the pilot and CC names.
  10. Staggering amount of work. Unreal good job!
  11. WIP.
  12. Astronomical job! Having painted the 17, I know how labor intensive it is. Very well done.

    8K Sabres

I haven't made them available yet. The FJs will have black interior.
  14. Updated POST #1 with new WIP pics and info.
  15. Thank you!
  16. WIP. -Added Tail Number backplate. -Updated the Navigational Dopler Radar Antenna. -Fixed some color variation for various panels all over the jet. -Fixed Slime lights and vent/drain holes all over. -Adjusted Roughmets throughout. Left to do: -Add T-ILS Antennas. -Add Pilot Suit and Patches. -Update the Engine T/R exterior with corrected rivets and adjust Normals and Roughmets as required. -Permanent XTank Solution for Specs. Updated pics 12-30-2022
  17. Since I've made some of these Liveries in question, I can tell you that I'm terms of quality, here's a bit of a sneak peak behind the curtain to the process. As I work on a livery, it's authenticity is scrutinized by the livery team via update pics, questions, vast historical research photos etc, other artists weighing in. Eventually, it's given the thumbs up once it meets the standard. With the tools, creativity of the artists and the absolute accessibility and plain common sense and consideration that Cobra gives to the individual team member's input, I can't imagine a more forward thinking and reasonable group of people to work with than what I've experienced working with the HB team. If any words describe best their mission, the words Precision, detailed, accurate, and thorough come to mind regarding the quality of their products. The very fiber of the DNA of the people who populate this team simply won't allow them to produce something of lesser quality than that which can ultimately be achieved. I've been in the simming world for over 25 years and I've never seen anything like what we have now. DCS and Heatblur, are on the leading edge of simming. Anyway, If there's something "sub par" about my Liveries, let me know with specifics. Thanks.
  18. I just want to know if you think my VF-31 1991 falls into the category of "sub-par"? If so,.what are the reasons, so as to take some self reflection on my own work. Seeing as I'm one of those called out generically.
  19. Thank you. So, seems like this should be fixable then? Just a few more screens. Seems like there are so many of these that it might be more reasonable to inspect the model from the dev end, rather than trying to find every one via model viewer and posting pics...but you can see it's literally all over the the entire model.
  20. Just to clarify, this issue appears over top of the custom Normals that many including myself have implemented. Which leads me to believe it's a model mesh issue. Thank you for your time. Thank you for reading. And I understand that ED, you're doing what you can to tackle the past release issues. Keep up the good work!
  21. Yes, I believe so. I tried to update the thread title...but it won't update. I've updated the verbiage in the description.
