I am able to run lomac gold on my Windows 8 Pro MCE.

They still have not fixed explosions. Cluster bombs, the combat environment does not need to run slow like that for any reason. I am starting to think ED does not know how to fix this issue. It's just a bug that has been in DCS World 100% of the time since it was released. So if we can get to EDGE I am hoping that this new engine will fix that issue because it sucks and it's stupid.

The smoke on the Russian carrier has not been pulled. That still exists in 1.2.6

Wags posted some screens this month about how the Nevada map is coming along. The real issue of concern is that ED is working on WWII projects. This is getting attention which I personally won't use if its a separate installer using the Edge engine. If they are going to integrate the WWII project into DCS world then they can kill two birds with one stone. Everyone would be happy this way. DCS in my opinion really needs to add a new engine and add few more areas to fly in. Personally I am very interested in a new engine for DCS World and I really hope the special attention is not going towards DCS WWII but rather DCS/ED is developing that project and as a side effect DCS World and WWII will be one and the same. This will affect my beloved A-10C and other future modern military aircraft. Just my opinion the WWII has been over done for years and years. AFM will be fun, cool, realistic, ETC but special attention going to a WWII sim is a mistake in my opinion. Unless it's one DCS world installer. Remember that DCS/ED creating modern AFM full fidelity aircraft is setting a bar for simulations. What they do will affect their profits and they already have a monopoly if they make good business decisions. This to me is not a game it's a sim. In real life what would you like to fly out of your local airport a F-15E, A-10C or a P-51D? Just some food for thought. Either way I am very impressed with DCS: World it's a success that's well deserved. And like I said before I would beat the DCS team!!........ to the door so I can open it for them.... And if I had a Vag I would let them gang bang...

L and M is on the HUD but L is not flashing... Damn what am I missing? This thing is not very easy to learn which I am glad but for real life I would think the OS would be a bit less consuming.

I finally know how you use the HOTAS controls. But it seems when I use the TGP and "paint" a target the L-GBU never follows the target designator what am I doing wrong?

I am using headphones but wanted to ask how sound proof is the A-10C cockpit? What are good volumes to have setup? I don't like it too quiet but want to find the most realistic setting... CJK

Well not sure why they are still supporting 32-bit? I thought this was taken out of DCS world two versions ago? We need to throw the book at people using 32-bit systems in their 3rd world countries.

Based on the fact that 3rd party addons might never be on steam I will just use the MSI. Not worth having to wait for things to be added each month. Thanks

So I am using steam for DCS world because I have a massive amount of games on that platform. I have all the current mods for DCS world. I can't use my MI-8 key yet. Which I don't understand why it's so hard to add these to the SQL database that steam uses... So in the future am I better off just using the installed MSI for DCS world? I ask this because add-ons like the MIG-21 I will want to have and I don't want to have to deal with buying addons and not being able to use them in the future until they get around to adding the keys. What has change for the start procs since the updates? I can't seem to get it started any more. Played around with it for an hour won't start.

I am using steam and bought a Mi-8 key off the DCS site and it won't register. What can I do about this? This sort of needs major attention. Lots of people are in the same situation.

I agree I am sure it's going to be 49.99 in beta. I also would like the F-15E but I will support DCS with the F-15C. But of course I will get the F-15E as well. I so want some other place to fly and also want to have a FF fast mover.

Well the AFM will be included with FC3 but what I though the F-15C was going to be is actually a fully functional AFM at some point. So the basic AFM's will come with the FC3 purchase to those that don't already know. The full fidelity model will be something we will have to buy I think. DCS F-15C HFAFM with clickable cockpit.

Is there FC3 and CA on there as well? I have all the mods so I would like to convert but might have an issue with not having FC3.

How do you get into CCIP mode never have been able to figure this out. ;-( Also drop bombs level you should be fine I actually have never blown my self up yet.

It seems there are often more changes made then mention in the change log. The engine views are different. Nice to be able to hear the wind with all shut down. The FM seems different I am not using real world controls IE HOTAS. So it seems more touchy anyone else have that? Overall I like the view changes.

I got CA $30 USD very small download. But can I ask you guy to please fix or update the installer so I can try it out. I own all ED modules will own all future modules as well. It would be nice to have a F-22 we just don't have a place to fly it around. A bunch of aircraft are in development. They are pretty much all good and I will get a lot of them only issue I have is that there is no place to fly them.

I run this in true 1080P 1980x1050 on my 144hz monitor. However if I lower that resolution and keep it on high setting as well as edit graphics.lua = 55FPS on every update. I get really good FPS. P-51 in general gets really poor fps.

The waiting times for this sim are really bad. Yet they are worth it. We really need a better DCS world first. Won't do us much good to keep flying around the same place with new mods. Update: Hurry up and wait! Until it's done I know it may seems like "When hell freezes over" but it just might one day. ;-P
