Не совсем по теме Хорнета, но раз уж мы тут стрим обсуждаем. Очень понравилась новость что карту Персидского Залива планруют в будущем расширить на север и запад. Это очень здорово, если в результате будет больший кусок Ирана, плюс может быть Катар и часть СА захватят.

I'm fairly positive it will be modeled. This is already available even in FC F-15, being able to "lock" two targets in TWS mode and engage with AMRAAMS. I don't think, however, this will work with AIM-7, as it requires continuous illumination in SST mode.

Interesting. Theoretically FCS should cancel those kind of movements. Also, Harrier has quite an anhedral angle on its wings which should counter the tendency to return to wings level.

Сейчас оч. мало времени на DCS, но тут наткнулся на это миссию. И понеслась, пропал из жизни на 4 часа. Спасибо! Интересные задания, атмосферно. Пожалуй лучший образец динамической миссии из тех, что я видел.

Being an early adopter of Harrier myself, if seems to me that it takes RAZBAM 6-9 months after initial release to make the module more or less feature complete. This is based on the history we've had with M2000 and current state of affairs. Harrier was released around December, and now we're 3 month later, having received TGP and autopilot updates in so far. So might make sense to wait until the end of sping / early summer :) By that time we'd hopefully get working navigation system and other goodies.

From NATOPS (applies to Rhino, but I guess relevant to Classics as well) 2.11.3.2 Cage/Uncage Button. The cage/uncage button is located on the rear inboard side of the right throttle. In NAV master mode and A/G master mode (AUTO delivery), the cage/uncage button is used to cage and uncage the velocity vector. Depending on master mode and TDC priority assignment, the cage/uncage button can be used to (1) cage/uncage weapons, (2) command a radar STT, (3) toggle between weapon modes, or (4) reset sequenced HARM targets. I have that one. The clip itself is only a metal structure with IR LED lights. I purchased it with the PS3 Eye camera, however. Works very well, the software to use with it is OpenTrack. It's reasonably easy to configure, though it will take maybe an hour or so to tweak it to your liking.
