  1. in which case should we choose a specific jamming pod (ALQ-184 short, ALQ-184 long, ALQ-131)?
  2. No, problem remains.... stopped flying ah-64d for now
  3. how about range? since the M151 is lighter, would it have a bigger range? Thank you @Scaley for this very detailed clarification!
  4. Not sure what is the best rocket type to use? M151 or M229 or other?
  5. @Swift.i rechecked it all by monitoring pedal movement in game while inverted/not inverted; and monitored tail rotor pitch in both scenarios. All seems consistent; so i must conclude the issue lies on my end; seems muscle memory is hard to fight. Sorry for the false alarm.
  6. You don’t get it; what i’m saying is; when “invert” is on compared to when it’s off; it doesn’t simply “mirror” the rudders reactions…
  7. I had my rudder/pedal axis inverted on all my modules since forever and a day. So when people say "give some right pedal" i had to give left pedal instead.... So my normal take off in hover is ussually increase torque and push some left pedal to keep the aircraft aligned with its longitudal axis. As my forward motion increases, i decrease the pressure on the left pedal. Now, as a test, i unchecked the invert option on my rudder axis. Theoretically, i should, while doing the usual take off, give right pedal to keep the aircraft aligned; yet, it seems i have to give LEFT pedal, and right as i lift off (i suspect the torque reaches some specific point) i immediately have to give a fair amount of right pedal.... It's hard to explain; but it is my impression the pedal axis is bonded to 2 parameters (one setable by the user: the "rudder axis" and one hard coded), which, when the rudder axis is set to "inverted", work together in sync. And when the axis is not inverted, these two parameters counteract each other. It might be something on my end; I won't exclude this; but can someone compare this by setting your rudder axis to invert (beware if your pedal registers 2 axis for 2 device; mine sees axis RZ and Z: only Z is "active" on rudder), if you usually fly without invert checked ON the rudder axis, and see if everything reacts as expected, just inverted; because it is absolutely not the case here.
  8. Hello @Raptor9; thank you very much for your quick and clear explanation!!
  9. Hi, Simple test: In Mission editor; i put a hot apache on the ground, and a couple of targets at 7km distance. I take off, sleect hellfire in LOBL mode through George; target a truck; i see it lased in tads; range is 6.5km, but no ranging information is shown on the IHADS. So it's either a bug, or ED hid it behind some new control.
  10. I call BS null
  11. I have this exact same issue… hope it gets fixed soon…
  12. Hi, I'm having isues with George lately not engaging infantry with the gun. We're well within range, and the aircraft's in stable flight. The tads keeps showing "bal limit", although the target's right in front of us. When i wazz the gun and shoot the target myself (from the back seat): there's no problem.
  13. Hi, Is there a command for the pilot & CPG to exith the aircraft after landing?
  14. What is your timezone?
  15. I'm having a strange issue. Whenever i enter a server, i'm spectator (before hopping into an aircraft); while in spectator, SRS seems to hot mic. As soon as I'm in my aircraft; no more hot mice;and PTT works correctly. Oddly; whenver I'm KIA, the hot mic starts again, until I'm respawned. This rogue transmission in hot mic; happens on the guard channel.
  16. I've had the EXACT same thing happen yesterday. one engine out (shot). Landed; shut the bird down; all is of, yet there remains oil pressure in the shot engine; ground crew refuse to repair.
  17. well I didn't, but now that you mentioned it...
  18. See pictures for bug and location.
  19. I think he's being sarcastic, and actually praises the module, and the excellent shape it is in at early acces launch Well that's how I see it. People often compare to how dramatic the F16 EA launch was; but I was ok with the F16 EA launch; it had it's flaws, but I was conscious it was EA, and I was glad I got to enjoy it even if it wasn't fully ready yet. I knew the module would only get better over time... and boy it did!! For my ED has delivered time and time again; and that is thanks to the dedication of their team.
  20. thank you all for your feedback!! DCS has the best community!
  21. Hi, All my volume knobs are at max, RWR/MWS is turned on and functional (visual indications); voice feedback volume on MWS module is at max; yet I get no more audio feedback of scanning radars or launched missiles. Anyone else?
  22. I was messing though the menus of the AH-64D while in flight; apparently, I disabled generator 1 and 2: which cut all electrical power to all electronics. To my surprise; the chopper kept flying; trimming was still possible; and I managed to land it. But it was impossible to re-enable those generators as they are activated through a menu, which after disabling the generators; is no longer reachable. Is there a way to re-strat them through a button? Or is it some kind of Doom-function?
  23. you confirm my findings;
  24. I've found what's wrong; and seems like a bug; When entering the cold and dark bird; I start the apu: I check volumes and squelch buttons --> no static BUT the master volumes is at max volume setting by default; well just turning this even a little; activates the squelch. Can anyone reproduce this (@BigNewy)? cold--> start APU --> once apu is started, check squelch; if no static, leave the squelch buttons on ON and just turn a small bit on the master volume knob--> static should be hearable now.
