Can confirm, I get that to.

resolved Problem starting the right engine since the last hot fix patch.

Any news? -Because, now it is affecting the MAD AH-64D Campaign by Stone Sky as well. Sounds like me trying to start my old Volvo 144 1974 model back in the 90's -

Try running "Mountain coin" -
Thank you, Stone sky. Still; when I land, and take off after being cleared by ground crew, he is way off, and there's no chance to catch up. Like I said, he is allready over Abu Dhabi intl. My only (logical) option is to follow flightplan to wpt 4. ..land there, and end the mission.
-
Well, he is telling me to orbit, so I do. Then I land, and wait for another 30 seconds. (What is that all about?) By the time I take off, he's gone. So I go to wpt 4, and at that point he is way off somewhere around Abu Dhabi intl.

Thanx a bunch, gentlemen. That took care of my long lasting, and huge confusion. Can't wait to try after work. Although, it has never ran better than now. Graphics are great, and I just have some microstutter moving head sideways. It disappears with motion repo activated, or all AA to off. Still hasn't decided if I can live with that rotorjello in tha apache, or not. Exited to try the real native mode.

DCS.exe? I must make another shortcut, and disregard the "DCSupdater.exe"?
-
Yes, and yes. Copied and pasted. spaces doublechecked. PS! I also downloaded that "openVR_api.dll" you linked to earlier. PPS! That command line was added to the "DCS update"- shortcut. (For OpenBeta)

I've used the OpenComposite so far. How do I get it so use OpenXR. That "Force OpenVR" switch does not work; Gives "Unknown command"
-
WMR reprojection (allways on) has worked for me since the initial fix. Me confused. Am I not using "DCS in native OpenXR mode"?
-
I set the frequencies correctly, but I still get text-only communication with Saber 3-1 Then I fly in formation to farp, where I hover for 30 sec. while he is on ground. After his take off I land, and get audio from ground crew. Then "PLT: taking off" (Tekst) And by then Saber 3-1 is long gone.

I'd say, DCS already has an incredibly high dynamic range. What you are whishing for in the "HDR" term, is in reality a compressed, and lowered dynamic range. If the range goes beyond what the monitor can project, one can "compress" (not the correct term) the brightest lights, and the darkest shadows to be visible. A monitor can not show whiter than , say 127 white and 0 black. So, if one define a point in the image as black, (0) the real image would demand a value of more than 127 in the brightest areas. Because real world does not have these limitations, and our limitations are our eyes. The can surely see more values than a monitor. HDR= "High Dynamic Range" does not give higher dynamic range ironically. To me, DCS' current dynamic range is one of its traits that impress me, and I feel it contributes to its realism..

Well.. Saber 3-1 was not there. But now that I know, I will look for him.

Thank you!

I've flown it twice, and I still don't understand the mission. Also, I get some written messages that add to the confusion, because I'm supposed to do some landing somewhere after somebody. But I'm all alone in the air. What is this about? To test my ability to navigate? As in following waypoints?
-
I'm still confused. What does OpenCompsite really do? And where do the "64bit file" that it downloads when it updates go? And what is the significance of that "openvr_api.dll from 2021? (In the BIN folder of DCS) Am I using both the WMR and openXR or is it OpenVR? (Yes, I just replaced Quest2 with Reverb G2 this week, so it is all new to me)
-
Sorry, I could not find any "openvr_api.dll" in that link. In what folder should I look?

Reprojection on, in combo with most variants of AA makes for a wobly experience. And AA off makes for an equivalent shimmering pixellated cloud/horizon screen á la Microprose in 2012. It is straight out unbelievable.
-
Everybody compensates with the head if in a vehicle that is at an angle; Keeping the head level with the horizon. I do it myself when turning in DCS. #singleplayer

I love the "nipple" With some practice, it is very accurate, and with the right technique, it is great for following moving targets.
-
I love copilots tiny head movements at startup. They give a little extra mood/dimesion-ish feel. I would find it natural to see him tilt the head in turns, as he adjust to see the world in paralel with the horizon. And it would be a nice immersion "boost"
