Those get in the way sometimes, when I engage targets from pilot seat with gun. Is there any way to switch them off?

I tried to switch seats, and put weapons to safe in CPG seat. I still could not do that in pilot seat afterwords.

I have a fairly similar rig. It runs like butter with higher graphic settings than the picture. I don't use cable, just air link. I use default/recommended frequency setting I have made an exception in windows defender for all dcs folder I do NOT use OTT Sometimes George's response is put in line, causing stutter until he responds "target destroyed" way to late. I sometimes get horrible stutters. I solve it by pressing esc, and alt tab to another window. Then repeat back to DCS, and the stutter is gone. These seem to be triggered by some in-mission script, mods or AI trying to get into the single core beeing used. And there's a line. Alt-Tab has been a magic wand for me.

What do you mean by "change the folder"?

I had a crash in DCS, and was prompted to send a crash report; Navigating the buttons (mouse did not work for this), I noticed that left is right, right is left and space is enter. Just like in-game controls set up, where all sliders have to be reversed to work normally. What is this? Ikea?

THX! I've been waiting for AH 64 since "Apache longbow" by Jane's So when it was announced, I immediately bought an Oculus quest 2 set, and the Apache module. I also love the A10. But this summer, F18, F16, Huey and the Gazelle were on sale, so I got those as well. I've got all terrain modules. And I'm currently learning all modules simoultaneously. PC meltdown occurred as I was about to bite into entering coordinates. I still haven't got my head around the different formats I get from JTAC or similar. (Started with "LM" or som letters if I remember correctly) I got the Thrustmaster warthog HOTAS set from my girl at my birthday late in june this year. I really don't have time for this intermission-pause-thing. I expect to be unpacking i seven hours time.

Hey guys! I did not mean to blame DCS in any way. I totally accept that this PC from 2016 got very hot with a new nVidia plus the disk. It was too crowded in there. Although no other app will challenge a system like that.. Like 100% over such a long time. I am really exited to try the new PC, that seem to be arriving tomorrow. I ended up with Ryzen, because iit was the only config where all components were in stock, and I was, and is still very impatient to get into DCS again.

FWIW: Norway has routinely intercepted russian aircraft as long as I can remember. I barely remember F104 starfighter, then the F 16. Those flights over my hometown made my fascination for the F 16. Later we have acquired F35s.. I upgraded my 2016 PC with a nVidia 3060 and a M.2 NVMe SSD 2TB. With 100% GPU over some time, my mainboard couldn't take the heat and gave in for good. I ordered a new PC on the 11th of august, and I have been without a PC since then. Now I am waiting for the shop to assemble this new box with AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32Gb Ram and a RTX 3080 Ti. It will be another week or so before I can unpack the thing, and I am totally in Limbo. -Watching other guys' DCS-videos on utube through Oculus quest. Wondering If the DCS installation on that SSD can be started on the new PC, after I copy DCS folder to saved games on the new c drive. Darn, this wait is a drag.

I slide my buttocks forward and beyond the end of my seat/chair to achieve that lower altitude, and tilt my head 90° forward, support the Oculus with my left hand as I adjust 2nd angle with my head, thenclick enter cursor with my right hand. I do that twice. Once for each seat. I then click active pause before I climb back to normal sitting position. Works. I just hope nobody is watching.

..because I have made some of my own, but it is like buying my own birthday present, and acting surprised when I open it. I find no good way to use filter in downloads section. How do I go by that?

I flew a downloaded ah64 mission yesterday. It had the worst fps in my Oculus quest 2. After a while I could not take it, so I paused and "Ctrl-alt-del" and opened task manager. Good time to go downstairs and refill my coffe. Coming back I un-paused and re-entered the mission, and it was totally fine. Wut? I have recently moved the game folder from a spinning disk (E:) to a hefty 2TB NVMe SSD disk (F:) (Old disk not necessarily giving bad fps) It used to be 80% plus activity to that E drive before I moved it. BUT; Upon exiting the game yesterday, I noticed real heavy traffic to that old E drive. Usage fading as the game was ending. That made me suspiscious-ish. What is accessing that drive? -Because I have experienced that bad FPS suddenly gets better if I active pause for a while and wait until it settles. It is like the game need more loading time after I have started the mission. -Non Steam version Any of you gentlemen have any thoughts/experiences/theories/wisewords/hunches regarding this?

I use oculus quest 2 controller to push power levers. After the former update, there is no detent, and I struggle to find the correct position manually. (Giving me a stressful flight with high/low rpm and overspeed) It is not like that in stable version. Is there anything I can do to remedy this?

Where do you get the option to enter "3"? I'm using the am manual frequency dial, (left cockpit) and the choices there are: 00, 25, 50 and 75.

..because ,3 is not an option; have to choose between 00, 25, 75 etc.
