  1. Ok. So I fiddled around changing acq back and forth and unslaving/slaving a couple of times, and it changed view. And now I see why I miss:
  2. I must check. The way I remember; I have a big box when I have line of sight and missile is in "DIR" In "Hi" there is a small box. (LOAL) Edit: I remember correctly: (It still point to the sky above target, and Hellfire overshoot by a couple of meters. (10-15 feet)

  4. Came to think of it as I now suspects some erratic altitudes; I have an AI Viggen attacking a ship nearby in the same mission. Supposed to fly at 260 ft. It flies way higher than me/my apache even when my altidude is 450-800 ft. It starts with 260 ft. over sea, and turning over land and will change its relative altitude over land, though
  5. Thank you! JTAC added through DCS tools. All prompts done, and I can fire and even hit all targets. (JTAC command is: "Shift" after first target is hit) Well within constraints. Daytime with clear LOS for both me and drone. No clouds. I believe I might be doing something wrong when slaving: I choose SKR as ACQ, and press "slave" Tads then move to a point in the sky above target. Target outside (under) the monitor screen. PS! I use suggested altitude from the "database" after entering JTAC's coordinates. As in, I use the suggested altitude, and I do not bother with altitude info from JTAC, assuming it is correct in the database. (A little less hassle when entering numbers, wearing Quest2 goggles) Hm..
  6. Using a drone as JTAC with laser, I tried to set acq to SKR, and slave tads to it. It still looks to some point in the sky. How can I get it to see the lased target?
  7. When I had this problem on Quest2, I deleted the guardian history within the Oculus software. -Problem gone.
  8. Graphics card need as much VRAM as you can afford. Mine has 12Gb, I'd like 24, as the 12 is always maxed out. I have 64Gb of system ram, but it never goes beyond 32. Oh! And a cabinet with good cooling properties.
  9. That's excactly what I wanted to "hear" entering this thread. The back order predicts delivery in store on 17th. of january. I'm currently playing the patience game. But it will be mine. -Some short week after the 17th.
  10. Writing is helpful in itself. Since I wrote I've come to some possible conclusion. Yaw or bal limit for example?
  11. Sometimes I can only get to out of three (moving) targets, and loose track of the third one. Other times, I can only lock one or two, as the TADS movement is restricted after first target is "locked" What are the conditions of a successful track of three targets? I havent been able to find any list of limitations or conditions. Spacing? Speed? Distance?

  13. The sounds in DCS are the best I've ever encountered, period! I tried some packs from Echo 19, but noticed what I recognized as loops, so I reverted. I saw somewhere the ED is contemplating a relationship with E19. Must say; You don't need to do that. Existing sounds are extraordinary as is: Absolutely unbelievable. (Wingman, "Two" need some EQ, though. Can be nasty sounding in target rich surroundings)
  14. Well, for me, turning weather to "Nothing" and shadows off, made the difference between running a mission, or a slideshow. Entering ME to improve performance isn't all that obvious.

  16. When I click a unit in ME it is under Joint task forces, and I can copy it, but not change unit. The joint task force thing is gone, and I think that is where the problem originate.
  17. Yes, in two locations: the following: DCS.openbeta/mods/tech and in DCCS/mods/tech Both under Saved games, and they do not appear anywhere else. That error message might have appeared because of wrong installation folder. I don't remember. I'm doing a lot of troubleshooting with this thing. And the assets are listed in the module manager, and their slider is on "active" They just son't show up anymore in ME. The "joint task force" option is also missing, even if I put it in coalision.
  18. No wonder that mission keep crashing, because the Swedish assets are there.. Just not authorized, and I can not add more of them..

  21. Swedish assets are gone in my ME after 2.8 update. I have normally found them under joint task force, which now is unavailable in ME. Neither do I find them under Sweden.

  24. Check under "Assist"->auto start in key binds. Then check state of that switch on your joystick-throttle-rig-thing. Or clear/delete the assignment.
