  1. I've noticed that if I hold the toe brake in the slightest, I can not activate the handbrake; It just bounced right back in. That I can fix. However, after engaging targets with George, I can not de- arm "Armament A/S button" It just bounces right back to armed state after a short blink. If I land, it goes to safe, but if I take off again, it will arm itself. -And I havent found any fix for that. Anyone? I have assigned the "Autopilot engage/disengage button on the warthog hotas throttle to this button.
  2. Under options/audio; I send main sound (engine, rotors etc) to the speakers, and radio sounds to the VR headset. This way I have individual volume control for these. (I happen to have an external sound interface with a physical volume knob, but even without it you'll have better control)
  3. What will do that?
  4. If the Philips screws on top of the dashboard were replaced with some more modern graphics, I'd be satisfied, because they are the biggest distraction when it comes to immersion in VR. For me at least.
  5. Moved to "bugs" I'd say it is not a bug, it's a tendency!
  6. No, it did not just start happening to me. It has been backwards since first installation; Up= down and reversed sliders by default. And Oculus got it right in this test at least:
  7. First, all the sliders has to be reversed. Wut? What is that? I use a pretty standard Thrustmaster warthog HOTAS, plus CH Products Pro Pedals, and reversing all the sliders rudder, toe brakes etc.. for all modules, twice, (one for each version; Beta and, uh, the other one) comes out plain weird. And the nitpick: The clicking sound from the F-16 throttle passing the detent comes from the right side of the cockpit. I clearly see it to my left. This I can not reverse, as I use the headset in the Oculus. (Maybe the Oculus guys got it wrong?)
  8. The real strange thing about the wipers, is that they do not wipe anything.
  9. That helped; I converted it to a 16 bit -ogg file, and Voila! Thank you for helping!
  10. It has to be an .ogg or a .wav Incompatible files (e. g. mp3 does not show up when browsing from editor) But I will try .ogg.
  11. I got it "working" as in: it displays the written message, but there is no sound from the soundfile; I converted an *.mp3 to a 24 bit *.wav (more than 5 MB) and it plays with sound on PC's mediaplayer. But it has no sound in Mission editor (nor in mission) Trigger works now. Just no audible sound. Are there some (sigh) restrictions there? Bitrate etc?
  12. Aha! "Out of zone" equals dead? Makes some kind of sense. Will try. Thx a bunch, Kanelbolle! (With melis?)
  13. I am trying to play a sound file to all when all red units (several groups) in trigger zone are dead. But, no, njet, nope, nix, no way! I can not find the right condition. How on earth am I doing that?
  14. Thanks guys. My head is working correctly now. Safely home.
  15. What is it supposed to do? It does not reverse the waypoints in existing route, which remain unchanged after "reversing". It just flip that list in RTM page. I could allways "RTE" to waypoint without reversing that list.
  16. Thanx a bunch "Miki"! ;D Testing immediately!
  17. The "Reverse route" function does not seem to reverse the route, but is just flipping the RTM page list, sorting with highest value first. Can I this be used to navigate in "reverse" (as in back home? What further steps do I need to take in case?
  18. Thx, guys! I catch myself almost anally chasing waypoints, and I forget to enjoy the scenery, or I consider non-mission-critical targets a distraction, or just a nuicance. "Don't you make me miss my waypoint, target!"
  19. If I miss a waypoint, I'd better turn back and "check" it by flying through it, or it will remain an unfullfilled task. Well, that is my perception anyway. (So far.) Clicking "RTE" and select next wp, give me directions, but that lost waypoint remain. Am I missing something?
  20. That was it. Thank you, Ramsay. High precision.
  21. I normally pan with the mouse when in external (F2) view. But it does not work with the Gazelle. Is there a key I need to bind or?
  22. Here, have a question mark. ? Use that, and you won't have to write "question"
  23. I remember correctly, I used the kiowa to distribute targets to AH 64's in "Janes longbow" back in the day. That alone should bring new challenges.
  24. No, you didn't. I get this a lot, arming in air some time after take off. Can not turn it off/de-arm again. It just bounce back.. It de-arm if I land, but self arming as I take off again.
  25. I assigned a button on my PS3 controller. Works very well!
