  1. I prefer option #2, but I guess I can live with #1 too. :) Thanks, Zeus. No. Yes. ++ Az'
  2. Thanks BD :)
  3. Just tried it. Indeed, it's buggy. @ BD: you've set 'start waiting user response' but not 'stop waiting...' afterwards (in the next trigger). As a result, the space bar is "locked" for use, and can't be used to release weapons (its usual feature). Also: The radar needs to be switched to "Emitting" (missing instruction) The TAS is already selected by default (no need to press its button) The default way of doing CCRP in this aircarft is not a level run, but a dive/climb run. ++ Az'

Interesting :) Well, French DLZs are a guide of effective pK for the pilot. So Razbam's call is right, here, and I see no point in turning it into an aerodynamic performance chart. I understand ED different philosophy, and I agree about the need for a "relative performance" equality, but if indeed results are "off-the-mark" with ED's method, why not tuning ED's missiles towards upgraded versions (this should be doable while keeping each philosophy if necessary)? What are we going to say to LN when they come out with their fully modelled Phoenix? Not good either?
  5. Hi Go to DCS options => remove easy comms.
  6. Alléchant ! Bravo :)
  7. IIRC Razbam already answered about this. :) You may also like to read the following thread https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=147288
  8. Watched the 1st one, loved the conclusion :D (you should anyway put battery On first thing, and close canopy before engine start, but whatever) Nice job overall :)
  9. ^this :)
  10. Nice idea too :) I like it better, actually.
  11. Hi, Let's try to move forward. Actually I like the idea of having D2M availabity as a "pod" like the Eclair. I don't know if it's doable (code-wise) as it would probably mean to modify the payload screen too (to add one or two "stations" able to "carry" the D2M pylons, and this would be need to be tied to the fact that Magics are carried on external hardpoints, or at last that there is not another payload here (I mean, you can't have D2M + rockets pods on the same pylon, as Rockets pods use (IRL) a different pylon than Magics). This would also provide a way for servers / missions makers (who don't want it to be use) to prevent the D2M use. It would also make it "default Off" provided that the default payloads don't include it. But it would make it a bit harder (in fact: longer time, really) to "forbid" it than just a checkbox somewhere. What do you think? (people and Zeus) ++ Az'
  12. Cool. Bons vols ! :)

    Come again?
  17. Sorry to disagree :) Do you know their purpose IRL? Uh? Is see some confusion here. The N switch near the VTB is implemented. This one is useful, it allows to select any of the INS waypoints as reference for the TCD. Obviously you'll select your bulls most often here. But doing this doesn't display the bulls on the VTB. Nor would any other switch located around. OTOH the aircraft allows you to display up to 5 waypoints on the VTB, using the PCN. So you may display the one waypoint that you chose as bulls... or other ones at will :)
  18. No. And they don't really need to. Feature behind is tiredsome, and seldom used.
  19. Hi Start up. I agree that some harmonization is in order. Let's let Zeus some time to update the manual, it's a big task in itself (and he does much more). In the meantime, remember this: GPU is SOP. No GPU is doable, but requires specific check list and implies degraded INS (engine vibrations during alignment = bad thing) Point 1 : (from my last test a few weeks ago) VOR works as intended. I guess you're doing doing it wrong or a new bug was born recently. Point 2 is interesting. Should be a bug report for the module, not the training mission per se. Point 3 : as written elsewhere, TD works but RD is not (yet) implemented. Point 4 : AFAIK, the (first release) temporary requirement to have the landing point set in editor is still in order. The CP/PD are, as RD, WIP/to be done ;) Regards
  20. About the speed question: 230 is the max recommended speed for lowering the L/G. That's also the speed under which the "gear not down" caution is triggered (it makes the lever blink red). There is no "fixed" approach speed that you've to aim to. You fly the glideslope, and take the correct approach AoA (14°). The speed you'll get as a consequence will be OK, and will depend on your weight (mostly). As guidelines: Many people in DCS tend to forget about their aircraft weight before attempting to land. That's a mistake. Max (normal) landing weight is 9.9 tons. Up to 12.3 tons for Max (heavy aircraft) landing weight ; the latter requires precautions re: sink rate at touchdown, runway available lenght... Speed limit for main gear wheels is ~200kt IIRC.
  21. Guys, I think the current RWR is simply asking to DCS database. Probably it should be "upgraded" (code-wise) or "downgraded" (differentiation-wise) as to better simulate what we know of RWRs and radars from the time. Note: OTOH, the RWR should be able to differentiate RDI (2000C) and RDY (2000-5) radars. So it goes both ways. ++ Az'

    ECM upgrades

Well, it (first post) dates back to october the 5th. ;)
  23. Indeed, it's the "MIP" (you have such a light on the PCN). Module d'Insertion de Paramètres.

    a question

That's correct, for "peacetime/civilian" modes 1 and 3. "Wartime" mode 4 is a kinda (classified) black box that doesn't needs nor allows any pilot code input re: interrogator. So more or less what we have currently in DCS ;)
  25. Probably linked to an old payload file included in the mission. I guess if you manually set the payload (new payload, name it, set it with Matra missiles, save) you would get rid if the issue. Not really. I just tried the 1st mission (corrected). Lots of work including trips away this month. Edit : forgot to tell, great setup and immersion :)
