Yes, no HMS on PP I think just trying to get a feel for PL-8 perf.

So, I've heard the PL-8 has performance is similar to AIM-9M but there's also a HMS built for it which seems unlikely or rather useless if the performance was only as good as a 9M? Anyone have real world PL-8/Python-3 stats and is there a significant difference between PL-8A/B besides domestic components.

We're getting PL-8s so I'm happy.

Interesting that several J-8 visited the US then.

Usually it's after my SD-10 has gone active, in this log I launched minimum range at F-18, and we mutually destroyed.

Thats an F-8 so like in China but the 8PP did plenty of test flights while in the US!!

Hello, this little annoying issue has been bothering me, whenever hit by an AIM-120C/AIM-54 fired by another player on MP (in this case Growling Sidewinder OC) causes DCS to instantly crash to desktop each time. I posted this in Dekas forums and it seems it's a seeker interaction with the JF-17? Hopefully it can be resolved. Also linked the forum post where others describe this. Below is my log. dcs.log

@uboatsRegarding this post, would you guys consider at least the HQ-9 or 22 as they are close to the S300s we have currently, similar to how you've done with J-11.

Things can change and no J-7/Q-5 is no loss for anyone, I'll hope however irrational. That still leaves JF-17C and export J-10s with downrated equipment like PAFs gimped J-10Cs with export weapons and removed equipment.

29A no, 29S can however as it has the required equipment to use the 77 already.

For me yes, usually when my wings are vertical in a maneuver as well. Also, when being killed at all the pilots does every time and never lives for an ejection.

J-10As are being massively upgraded and possibly being exported, a 10A/B may be a possibility, especially with the early block 10As having the same radar/sensors and similar cockpit to the JF-17 we have currently. 10B has IRST and production batches AESA so that might be harder. AL-31F engine documents ED has already so I think it's most possible compared to any other red gen 4. A J-10A is literally a fast JF-17.
