  1. I know it's possible to fly with no weapons... is it possible to have a configuration without the empty pylons and just have a clean bird?
  2. My point is that there's no functions to find a player-generated spot. I can't point a laser from a platform and be like 'get that point'. There is no command to 'get that point'. I can only (as best I can tell) create an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT laser spot via scripting, and return ONLY THE SPOT CREATED BY SCRIPTING. If you know a way to find a spot generated by a player, point to it specifically, please, so I can use it, as it continues to evade me.
  3. I found a way to generate a laser spot, and return that artificially created laser spot, but in a scenario where it's 'hey, I have an A10 with a targeting pod... boop, laser's on, tell me where that location is in code terms', I can't find it.
  4. Just a way to find a laser spot on the map that wasn't created by script. Possible other things including the designating unit, and the code.
  5. How? If you know a command to find a player's laser point, I'm all ears.
  6. Judging from the fact that they're talking about the MMA being added via a checkbox versus done through the rearm menu, I imagine that would indicate that their current DCS install is SERIOUSLY out of date. @salsantana I would highly recommend you set your install back to the stable client and update it, and run it from there. I imagine quite a few things have changed since, for you.
  7. I mean, the graphs say how the helicopter behaves. That's literally all they do. It may be different for the helicopter you've flown, but I bet that has different graphs.
  8. Then complain to Boeing. This is just a faithful recreation of the aircraft.
  9. Just curious if this is a bug or no (in contrast to the real aircraft), but is the ZOOM on the RMAP not supposed to have terrain data?
  10. To be honest, the reason I didn't also put this is because I don't think it's actually 'Y', but rather based on the location of the key in the keyboard, i.e. some keyboards, like the German one,are QWERTZ, and I believe it's their LAlt+Z that does this function... so Left Alt+<Whatever is between R and U> is probably the best, though not the most concise, description of that key combo.
  11. Left ALT + Left Click Alternatively, coordinates for where your mouse cursor currently is are displayed in the top left corner of the screen.
  12. https://steamdb.info/app/223750/history/?changeid=24716978 Seems the last push update was 9 hours ago to the 'beta2' (I assume it's an internal build) branch. There seems to be no activity on the branches labeled 'openbeta' or 'public' since July 22nd. Looks like they forgot about us when they shut off the lights and went home. No weekend DCS for me, I guess.
  13. Nor does my Steam.
  14. Check through some of the gameplay options in the main menu's settings menu (and not in the module specific 'specials' menu). There's one labeled either 'Force Feedback' or 'FFB'. If you do not have a force feedback stick, ensure that this box is UNCHECKED.
  15. These still do not exist.
  16. I'm stuck in a similar situation and I can't for the life of me figure out what, if anything, that I'm doing wrong.
  17. LMC and the WPN page switches on the Copilot's side do not behave the same if they are activated/switched via a joystick or button box, versus how it behaves when clicked by the mouse.
  18. I know it's a little math-intensive, but from my in-game research, you can get basically within a second or two with... 2(X1.38) Where the X is the distance in kilometers. It's not exact, and you'll need a calculator, but it works as a good rule of thumb.
  19. The issue is that if you drop the bomb from too low, it may not have time/energy to maneuver, as there's a bit of a power-up time for the seeker after it's been dropped. The jet, at current release at time of this post has no laser spot search/laser spot track capability (and, though I don't know for sure, it may be that even the DMAS version might also not have this capability).
  20. The real life counterparts would via JVMF. However, this capability is not modeled for the AH-64. The KW can send points via JVMF to other KW in game, but any sending of points for remote hellfire missions between the two dissimilar platforms can only be done via voice comms.
  21. From what I recall I've heard a couple of them say... The PDU goes from 'Pilot Display Unit' to 'Pilot Destroying Unit' when the airbag goes off as it's launched straight into their face at air-bag velocities.
  22. Yes, but you cannot set it to any number higher than 3. If you have four missiles, at least one must be set to the alternate frequency. With three missiles, however (e.g. after firing one), you can set it again to 3 and 0. Alternatively, is if you are on the alternate code, you can just hit the 'toggle codes' button and switch to the primary code.
  23. Will this make it to this week's patch?
  24. I believe it was mentioned that they'll receive this in the next patch. At minimum, HB is aware of this.
