I'm not sure if this is something I'm doing wrong or a glitch but occasionally I'll run into a situation where the steering line for auto mode is not aligned with the target. Also the CDIP is above the velocity vector. Not sure what is happening.

Is there anything I need to do to increase the accuracy of the TPOD when cueing it from the A/G radar? In the last mission I did the TPOD was pointed about 10 degrees upward. Almost as if there was a problem determining altitude of the target.

Compared to the F-15C this thing is easy. The plane doesn't skid wildly off the runway and the gear doesn't collapse with the slightest breeze.

You need to IFF interrogate. You do that by holding the Coolie switch left. If a circle shows up on the radar it is friendly. Also you can use NCTR to find out what kind of aircraft it is and make an educated guess.

Sometimes I've found you need to hold down the consent to fire button until the missile comes off.

There is no TCAN on the D model.

It would be nice to have a command to have George search for a laser spot from a FAC, AFAC, or another player. Can the laser code to be searched be input from the back seat?

Which way are you tipping? The Apache need a little left cyclic and left pedal for a hover in no wind. Rightward tip (Need to counter with left cyclic): Leftward Tip (Too much left cyclic or right pedal): Normal takeoff (Note that to hover in one place you need to have a little left cyclic. The helicopter naturally hovers with a lean and therefore the right wheel will leave the ground first): Hover with a left lean and no wind:

I've noticed that if you armed the plane on the ground using the ground override he won't lase. Turn off the ground override then arm the helicopter in the air.

Yaw seems really active in a hover. Even small changes in collective result in 10 degree swings even with a little pedal input. I'm not even sure what SCAS is doing. It's almost easier to hover with trim interrupt. There is a huge onset of right torque as soon as you slow to 15 knots. It comes on really suddenly and feels unrealistic.

I've been trying all kinds of stuff to figure out why my results were different than yours. I think I finally I figured it out. It seems like the two ships will shoot at boats and ships at maximum range but the gun refuses to shoot at land targets (using the "fire at point" action). The other ships (the US DDG and CG) will fire at land targets at 12 nm. -

I think the stress is on the word attempted here. At greater than 2.5k on a stationary target LOBL will not be attempted. Even if you have LOAL indications in the cockpit, the missile will attempt LOBL if the data indicates a moving target or range<2.5k. This is why you often see LOAL symbology briefly before the missile establishes a LOBL track. -

Hey Currenthill, Thanks for all the work you've done on these mods! I basically don't make missions without some of these assets anymore. Quick question. I'm trying to use the UK Frigate and Destroyer for a naval bombardment but I can't get the gun to fire more than 5nm. Is there any tweak you can make to give them longer range? -
In game, I think it does when you have a human CPG using LMC. George seems not to pass the computer an intercept course for moving targets.

I have a VKB NXT. Seems fine to me. I have a 20 curve on each axis. Is there some maneuver you are unable to accomplish? I don't have another stick to test with but none of the other modules are significantly different.

That's not what he said. He said there is no way to fire RF hellfire from the back seat right now. Nothing about Geroge.

Things seem OK to me. I have the same trim settings (I don't trim pedals). I don't hold the trim button down though. I trim, then release, then trim, then release, until the helicopter is somewhat still.

George misses majority of RF shots for me also.

Yep. I notice that when I try to keep the aircraft in trim, that huge roll force is much more pronounced and it takes an unusual amount of left stick to counter. It's not as bad in nose to tail trim. I've started flying that way since the update.
