Nate, I did some more troubleshooting, and I believe this has nothing to do with your guys's part. I bought COD MW3 today and had the same issue with that game. I did some searching through forums and read that some people switched from vga to HDMI cables and the issue went away.

options.lua is reading true for sync...just checked it

VSYNC option was initially checked and then afterwards the graphics.cfg read SYNC = FALSE.

1.1.0.9 fresh install. I posted here before with the same issue and had it resolved with the graphics.cfg sync = 1 edit, however that doesn't seem to be working this time. I just built a new computer. Asus Maximus extreme-Z, Core I7 2600K @ 4.6Ghz, 2 EVGA 580GTX's in SLI, 8GB DDR3 2133 RAM. I did a fresh install of the latest version on my SSD, and I encountered the same issue AFTER the sync = 1 edit. I also forced VSYNC on in nvidia inspector and nvidia control panel. What I see is subtle horizontal waves, barely noticeable a lot of the time and sometimes clearly obvious. My monitor is a LG W2340 LCD. The only time I ever encounter this issue is with the DCS A-10C, so I dowbt it is a monitor issue. Any suggestions?

I noticed my aircraft doesn't display heat blur, but the other aircraft do. Is this normal or a known issue?

next aircraft... The Boeing F/A-18E/F is an ultra-modern, well documented aircraft that is exported throughout the world, so nothing about it is too secret to be modeled on a computer simulation. It is basically a legacy hornet with increased-sized fuel tanks, greater payload capacity, beefed-up engines, provisions for the same awesome radar of the F-14, a very responsive and precise FCS (flight control system) that allows it to perform maneuvers that a legacy hornet only dreamed of, and a modernized cockpit that is very user-friendly.

Under what circumstances in-game are you guys experiencing crashes? I haven't had one yet.

I am kinda worried though. Usually, when people are experiencing stability issues and crashes, a patch is released addressing those issues, then all of the people not experiencing crashes and stability issues now are having problems.

What kind of systems stats do you guys have that are experiencing problems? When Beta 4 was out, I had XP 64 bit with (2) nvidia 9800 GTX 1gb cards. The game was virtually unplayable for me. I then upgraded to windows 7 64, and an evga 580GTX video card with latest drivers. Drastic improvement. Beta 4 ran perfectly for me, and with the release version and patch, I have vsync enabled with an everage of 55-60 fps constant with high settings, never had any ctd (knock on wood). clouds are now visible and amazing. Windows XP has alot of compatibility issues with DCS A-10C. Not DCS's fault, but windows xp is still full of bugs that prevent direct x to be fully optomized. After the patch, my fps with the litening pod are way faster too.

Been wanting to try out multiplayer, however it looks like most people on there are hosting password protected sessions. I was wondering if there are any good virtual A-10C squadrons or wings that use Teamspeak 3?

You may have to slow the slew speed.

You're right. Basically, my computer is alot faster than the 60hz refresh rate of my LCD monitor. I was getting 75-80fps in cockpit with high settings, almost 20fps faster than my monitor could present on screen. thanks

Didn't work. Can't be my video card because it is brand new, not overclocked, and it works well with other games. It does the same thing in Microsoft FSX, only in the cockpit view just like the A-10. I'm surfing the internet to see if it may be an issue with my monitor.

Not sure what it is from, but when in the cockpit view, I have a very subtle, yet slight flickering that almost apears to be more of a wavy horizontal bottom to top of screen motion. I have windows 7 64, nvidia 580 gtx.

What is alt-tab all about?

Just thought I'd let the developers know the clouds look great, they are immersive, and they result in absolutely no performance hit for me, even in overcast. I get 47-55fps inside the clouds.

Just finished my 12-hour torrent download (COX DSL), and installed it. Insane. Epic frame rates with impecable graphics. I'm calling in sick tomorrow.

I tried the torrent, however my ETA for download to complete is 1 year, 9 months, 2 weeks, 4 days and 19 hours. That is not an exageration lol. I think I will have to suck it up and wait a week to download it. I have COX high speed internet, I think I may have to call custormer support about this, my dsl is as fast as dial up.

How do I download on FTP? mine is asking for a log on and password
