  1. Right there you made it worth hosting it. Thanks.
  2. Any new progress that you can share with us?
  3. Streakeagle, SRS works with the A-4, tune the radio in the jet and SRS tunes to that freq. I tune my radio by hand (manually) as Bullet/Mithril/2alpha-down0 mentioned :) Sorry for the late reply
  4. I am working on updating the munitions available on the Vietnam server. An update messed up the warehouses, etc. Here is a list of munitions that I am making available. Let me know if there is something that should be added (with a link to a reference). AA Missiles: Sidewinder AIM-9, GAR-8 AG Missiles: AGM-45A Shrike AG Rockets: FFAR M156 WP, MK1 HE, MK5 HEAT, HVARx2 AG Bombs: 250lb/500lb Bomb MK IV, AN-M65, M117, MK-20 (Cluster), Mk-77 Mod 0/1 (Napalm), Mk-81, MK-82 (Base/SnakeEye/Air), MK-83 Note: The Stennis, for some reason, does not have all munitions available. This includes the MK-77 Napalm bombs. The Theodore Roosevelt has been reset to use different Nav channels. TACAN is now 73X, ILS channel 8 and Radio frequency of 137.5 (radios do not work in the A-4 anyway) Added a threat circle map to briefing images
  5. The Vietnam server has been updated to include the Theodore Roosevelt for those of us who would like to use the Super Carrier module with the A-4E-C Skyhawk with it. Works very well with the latest 1.4 release of the plane.
  6. Server updated: Date: June 11th 1952. Added: WWII planes for both Red and Blue. Ground attack only, unless you want to to up against Sabres and Mig-15s that is up to you. Moved: All Blue planes were moved further south to Kobuleti.
  7. Excellent job on the new update, and the video is great. Well done!
  8. Absolutely agree! Carrier missions from the Teddy R on the Vietnam server are a treat. Thank you Heclak and everyone else that has worked on this mod.
  9. The Vietnam War server features the A-4E Skyhawk. The Supercarrier is even available. https://discord.gg/C5C3Kw3
  10. Thanks, that is a great resource.
  11. I could use some help from the community. Does anyone have documentation of the weapons used by the Mig21, Mig19, A4E-C, F-5E and UH-1 HUEY during the Vietnam war? And the corresponding weapon types in DCS?
  12. I have a 24/7 public server called "The Vietnam War" featuring the A-4E-C. Mostly from the US side. It is an edit of Surrexens Operation Clear Field (with permission) so lots of ground attack tasks for the Skyhawk. Carrier and airbase takeoff. There are F-5s for escort/CAP. And Hueys for gunship missions. It is a work in progress but I thought it would help promote the use of this fantastic mod. Caucasus Map The server is using Open Beta.
  13. Definitely a work in progress. I hope that you enjoy it. Let me know if things are out of wack. It will take me a long time to do the house cleaning such as renaming the mission objectives to reflect the actual ground units. Some mission want you to attack T90 tanks that are now T72s or T55s, etc. I am still working on getting Blue CAP to spawn to give human migs something to do.
  14. That really would be great. Along with the paint tools that TP has. I would subscribe to it.
  15. We would like to welcome everyone to our new and improved Vietnam War server. The server includes these aircraft for use: A-4E-C Skyhawk. A completely community developed module for DCS. This module is FREE. This mod is required. F-5E Tiger II F-86F Sabre UH-1H Huey for ground attack, troop transport and CSAR. Hueys are a major part of our server. We are also using other aircraft to stand in for those that are not yet available: To fill the ground attack role that was usually tasked to the A-1 Skyraider we are using: P-47D Thunderbolt P-51 D Mustang Aviojet C-101 for Recon and CAS Ground commander is available as well Our server has been updated with four custom missions. Three are a (sort of) recreation of a battle during the Tet Offensive of 1968. They are: The Battle of Hue The Battle of Saigon The Battle of Khe Sanh. The fourth mission are strikes along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Each mission has a heavy emphasis on ground attack although there are a lot of unfriendly Migs trying to keep you from completing your assigned tasks. Both the Mig-21 and the Mig-19 (stand in for the Mig-17) are up there somewhere....so keep your head on a swivel. We are using a custom Moose.lua which allows not only the basic features of TASK assignments from the HQ but also the ability to call for smoke on the target's last location. As well as MIST.lua for use of Ciribob's CTLD and CSAR scripts. VR Friendly (Dots only labels) SrS enabled Join the server discord for up to date information and voice comms, etc. https://discord.gg/C5C3Kw3 Every Sunday we host a group co-op mission in based around the F-86 Sabre or the Vietnam Era. Everyone is welcome to join us for these missions. Details about the missions are in Discord under the Sunday Group Co-op Mission channel.
  16. Kariyann, you are great for being so patient with me. Unfortunately my Reverb died (black screen) and I am waiting on a replacement. I will give your instructions a try when it arrives.
  17. From my previous post.
  18. Yes, LeapMotion does work in Steam Cliff House.
  19. I am hosting campaign missions for the F-86F Sabre on Saturdays. Anyone of any level can join in. This is a weekly thing, I make a new mission every week unless I run out of time (or an update breaks things) There is no requirement to join a group/squadron, etc. Just a bunch of Sabre pilots from all across the world flying together. Dedicated server, etc. PM me for an invite link to the server discord. WWII Asset Pack required.
  20. Medevac missions are working on the server! Thanks to Ciribob for his edit of the MIST CSAR script.
  21. The server PC has been upgraded to an i7 8700K @4.5ghz 32gb RAM and an SSD drive. I have also upgraded the internet service but since I am using my home ISP that is not saying much. My service is 400/20. We have had as many as 12 online at once with no issues so hopefully this will work for now. If the server becomes popular I will look further into getting a hosted service. For those of you have enjoyed the server, let me know if I can make it more fun. For those of you that have not enjoyed it let me know why and I will see if I can improve things.
  22. Al-Azraq, yes. Lots. Edit, tested again with a slow moving Huey. It took a direct hit to bring me down. Near misses with the 8.8 Flak cannons seemed to do nothing but "Boom" :P
  23. Hi Flycats, we eventually created a server for PvE Korean War (see link above) and unfortunately we hold group missions on Saturdays at 2030 GMT.
  24. Coincidentally I too went the Microcenter the other day to pick up (Curbside) parts for my new server (actually parts for my new Simpit PC and the Server gets the hand me downs [i7 8700K]) i9 9900K. Unfortunately my upload is awful (20Mbs). Works great for 12 ish pilots but I dare not try anything more than that.
