  1. Are there approach plates somewhere in the documentation?
  2. instead of toward the airfield? I was flying a simple mission, call up Kobuleti, ask for azimuth, and it sends me 180 degrees away from the airfield...
  3. DCS is full of oddities, this is just one of them...my own Tomcat mission flies fine, the training mission is porked...your results may differ
  4. sounds reasonable, tks... well, I tried one of my own missions and it worked fine so something screwy with the training mission
  5. first it appears that only one engine is running but when I apply throttle both engines appear to light up but shortly after rolling the plane yaws sharply to the left and off the runway...wth is going on?
  6. so they really make a difference? I've been flying with them off...
  7. Heard a funny story on a podcast about British F-4s....pilot said the plane flew terribly without stability augmentation so when the GIB wanted to fly the plane, they would turn the STAB AUG off in front, then hand over the stick, the GIB would fight the plane, then finally give it back to the front seater who would promptly turn the STAB AUG back on, thereby showing the GIB what a great pilot he was... so I was wondering, is there a STAB AUG implementation in this bird?
  8. Surely the USAF teaches stall recovery for F-15 pilots...
  9. Axis, yes, work, yes....I'm just saying there is no visual indication of the toe brakes moving when you apply the brakes.
  10. Well, I never flew a jet but I used to fly little airplanes. I use the same procedure. Reduce power, point the nose up and wait for the break. It never really happens in the Eagle. You just get some kind of tail slide or falling leaf maneuver. Seems to me, and I may be wrong, but shouldn't the nose drop?
  11. I keep trying all these missions with my Huey versus any number of AA vehicles and I get shot to hell every single time. I propose that it is a suicide mission, change my mind.
  12. told my co-pilot there was about a 10% chance we'd get killed doing this...I underestimated the difficulty
  13. thank you for that, however when I loaded the a/c it was the A-10, now that's weird
  14. anyone know why I might have this? I do have FC3...
  15. is it up?
  16. We need this paint! https://www.instagram.com/p/CnPlmcOO_ff/?hl=en
  17. and caught the 2 wire which began pulling me back and I couldn't disengage the hook...never saw that before, what'd I do wrong?
  18. Well I thought at least my RIO would tell me my speedbrakes were extended before I launched....
  19. hmmmmmm...do you know what a/c uses the 105? tks
  20. I didn't see instructions on installing liveries for this awesome mod...any help there? tks edit must be this: The plane mod goes to main dcsbeta folder, liveries goes to saved games. There should be liveries/ea-18g, fa-18e and fa-18f folders for every actual airframe livery.
  21. saw a DCS video with a CBU-105 being used but it is not in the DCS sim encyclopedia...is it a mod or something? tks
