Ther are two things you can do: - Pressing the Pinky button on the stick (called NWS/ Weapons Button in the Options) does enable "High Gain" Steering - Pressing the Paddle Switch (same name in the Options Menue) will disable NWS all together, using differential breaking lets you turn in place then

Just in case you still don´t know how to do it, here some easy to follow steps: - I our example we drop from 18000, giving us 35-38 seconds of flighttime for the bomb - Guesstimate where your Target will be in 35 Seconds - Designate that spot on the ground - Drop your bomb when the time comes - See the target come into view - Enable point track on your Target - Make sure your Laser has clear line of sight - Watch the show As you can see in the example video you have some leeway on where the Designation is placed as well as the time the bomb actually needs to strike the Target.
-
CDES or a Re-Designation of a Target is totally not needed for dropping GBU´s. All a designation does is telling the Jet, and you, when to release the bomb. Once off the Jet it goes wherever the Laser is pointing to - not the designation.
-
You need to be low enough for them to work. Try 500ft AGL/ 550 TAS - works for me.
-
I take it you mean some kind of "Auto-Tracking" as the other pods provide, not designating wich is really not needed for the F-15. You only really need to designate close to the target and still the bomb will hit wherever you slew the crosshair. I didn´t try to have the Pod autotracking (mainly because I like the challenge), but with little practice you can have them hit regardless.

Aerial Refuelling - two at the same time
WizzRD replied to ga5con's topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
It´s been a while since we last did that as we now fly the F-15, but back then the first one has to go to the left basket and once he got the "cleared contact" message the next one was asking for refueling for the right side (he can move into position already tho ). Worked then and I´d imagine it still does. -
One thing that may play into the right vs left choice is that in pretty much any start up video you see, the right engine starts while the canopy is still open and the ladder still attached. Guess noone would like to get sucked in or hit by the inlet coming down.
-
That´s really something I have in any other jet but not in the F-15. For me it´s the most centric, easy to brake plane I own. My missions are in the 1.5 - 2 hrs region (and mostly MP) if that´s of any importance.
-
Left and right short really means "short". I have that at times as well if I hold the button for too long.
-
I cant say what youre doing so thats not working for you, but I can say that it works fine for me. Thus the "bugs" you are seeing may not be all that common and as such be even harder to track down and fix. A trk file is fine but what would be even better is a complete, step by step, rundown on how to replicate whatever error you are seeing. Else you may consider shelfing (or gifiting) the F-15 for the time being until a time it is more advanced in developement; seems you have plenty of other modules that wont give you such a hard time.
-
No. At this point not much more to say; well have to wait and see what TALON (?) AI brings.

You only trim pitch for Takeoff and Landing. After taking off trim down until you see a steady 1G in the HUD and leave it there. If your plane still goes up/ down another click or two is needed. That should do it.
