Invisible FARP? That's a new one Lol

Is there a flight ops/ATC versuon of the HMMWV in the game? In real life, our flight ops guys had a HMMWV with a giant base plate and mast in the back of a 2 seater that was used on FOB's for ATC/ FARP.

If this has been answered, my apologies. Is there a way to add FARPs in the game? Looking for both fixed wing and rotary wing. Ideally I would like to have a FARP off of a hard ball to have an A-10 roll into and one out in the middle of nowhere, like a FOB or PB, for rotary wings to land at. Fuel and armament would be awesome but mostly fuel.

A-10 would be much better and much more fun. Toss a tanker over the channel and you'd be set. Does it hold enough gas to get across the channel and back plus loiter time to wreck shop at the beaches?

Yes, I'm bringing this back to life... Just got the pedals today actually and jumped in the CrApache...I mean Apache Lol Those are some seriously sensitive pedals. Has anyone figued out a good solution to it yet? I can keep adding curve and desaturating them but I feel like they would still be super touchy.

Hopefully they get one here in the States pretty quick. I'm sure lots of people would love that.

Just curious, is there anywhere else to order Winwing stuff from? I'm assuming that it's coming from China if they're charging $116 for shipping. I really don't want to pay that or wait for what I am assuming will be about a month. Anyone have any insight?

Anyone else have a major issue with just getting this thing off the ground? Contrtols are beyond unrealistic. I haven't been able to get off the ground without balling it up. I understand helicopter physics, served 12 years as a crew chief on the UH-60 Blackhawk, so I'm well aware of the trim, pedal inputs etc. No matter what and regardless of how much trim or pedal is in, it will not doing anything level. This isn't just for the 64, it's all the helicopters in DCS. Just can't get them level.

So, in the mission editor, I can see Heathrow AF. In the game under the map, F10, it shows Heathrow AF. For some reason in the editor it's not selectable. What gives? The F10 map says it's got an 8,000ft runway. Perfect if past meets present type stuff.

Seems that after every time I land and refuel and rearm, the aircraft can't hold steady to save its life. Even with the autopilot engaged, it can't hold steady. Am I missing a step after rearming? Like an FCS reset on the Hornet...Or, is it the weapons I rearmed with?

I'm going with this also. I've got 2 switches setup now for the TPOD but I always forget which is which and it's an extra switch used that could be for something else.

I'm down...I have my 2nd R/H 32" monitor setup for the left MFD on the Hornet. I don't have to learn forward and stare at the monitor anymore Lol

I saw the pods too. I didn't mess with those since I didn't see the ASQ-28 ATFLIR on there. I did free up AIM-9X for the wings. I also did the JDAMs and the AFM-154 series. I haven't tried anything yet cause that was at about 10:30pm last night and wanted to go to bed. I'll try it tonight after work or tomorrow. Could of all been for nothing.

IF I did it right, there's multiple lines. I figured it out by looking at it. It's actually really simple. I was surprised at what they setup the Eagle to carry from the beginning.

He includes the current LUA file for them. It doesn't have a fall line for AUTO release or a TREL indicator on the HUD...Hell, I'll still roll with it. How do you and where do you put the LUA file in the Eagle folder?

I got it figured out. I missed a binding when I switched from DCS Stable to Open Beta. All is gravy now...
