It was in A/G mode. I made sure of that. You can even see the TDC hat clicking on the in game throttle.

For some reason my TM HOTAS throttle isn't working in game...Only on the Hornet and oy on cold start. The Eagle is fine. If I start in the air with a Hornet, it's fine. Just on a cold start. It's getting picked up in settings if I pause and go to adjust settings. Just not showing when unpaused. Any suggestions?

Well...Got a good align. GC OK. Switched to NAV for flight. Still can't designate a target. I've had nothing but issues with the F-15E TPOD.

Well darn...Guess I'll have to land and get an alignment...Ugh...Eagle needs an IFA function.

So, update already. It's only the Hornet and only on a cold start. Eagle is fine even cold and dark, and Hornet is fine if already up and running. Just a cold and dark Hornet, no throttle movement...

Don't if this is a thing or not but I can barely get to aligned on a good day but can I not designate on the TPOD without a NAV align? It does use GPS coordinates so maybe that's a thing...

Well, that would explain it then. If you do the Tilda sinking mission, it gives you a big old GBU-28. Yeah, it's a 5000lb laser guided artillery barrel bomb and would probably just punch straight through the ship but I would of still like to of seen it...

Hey y'all...Went to start DCS after doing a monitor setup to put my left and right MPCD's on my second monitor. I followed a posting on the forums here to do that. However, now my throttles won't work in the game. If I go into settings under axis controls it shows them moving just fine with the little white line under it. All the switches work just fine on according to the profile I have setup for the Hornet. Just no throttle...Can't start the engines at all or really do anything. I've rescanned the devices in the settings. I took the MonitorSetup folder out that I put in my saved games thinking I messed it up somehow. All the Thrustmaster software shows it working just fine. It's literally just in the cockpit that it's not working...Any body have this issue before or know how to get around this?

Ohhh...I'm not at the computer right now, bedtime for kids, but do they different codes listed? I'm used to everything being 1688...

I figured it out. It was problems with the GBU-28. It doesn't link with the laser for some reason. The GBU-24 is spot on!

So, apparently it was just the GBU-28 that's the problem. The GBU-24 was right on the money...

So, trying to take out a ship with some GBU's. The bomb can't get a laser lock and misses by at least 3/4 of a mile. My TPOD screen is showing it's lasing but it can't track to target. Is there a way to manually fire the laser prior to release so it knows where to go from the get-go? Or am I just not doing something right here? I've tried a few bombs and have to rearm after each one cause it's a one at a time bomb.

Now I can't designate after landing and rearming...WTF?!

I can't get it to undesignate...Stays on the same target no matter what.

I'm trying out a random mission for the Eagle. I'm used to the Hornet where I need to enter the laser codes into the weapon before releasing. I'm not seeing anything for that in the Eagle. I tried taking out this ship with the GBU-28, big boy bomb, but it was waaaaay off. Is there a screen where I need to enter the laser code prior to deployment? I have to be missing something...

I know the JDAM isn't out right now for the f-15E but is there a timeline at all for when it will be? I'm a huge fan of them and dumb bombing things is kicking my butt...

Is there a tutorial on how to do this? I would very much like this for say an F-18 until the F-15E becomes able to.

So, if I'm reading this correctly, I can put my MFD's on my second monitor? I don't have to zoom all the way in on the cockpit MFD? I'll actually be able to see things?! HOW DO I DO THIS?!?! Would I be able to have DCS normal view cockpit etc, on my left monitor and say either just my MFD's or of the dash on my right monitor? I've never used Helios or anything like that...

Well that's not cool...Sometimes when one thing takes a minute or 2, I'll move on to something else to make it go faster. Have to be sure to yell, "Out of sequence!" when you do though Lol

Oh yeah....Would it be wrong if I redid D-Day but with one lone F-18 or F-15? Just seems like fun to me!

Random dumbness here....Does the Normandy map limit type of aircraft used? Or, would it be possible to have a WW2 style battle but be ruling the skies with say an F-18 or F-15? Asking for a friend

I'll check the radar next time I'm in the bird. I'll also turn off the air conditioning next time too. That 3rd jet engine in the cockpit is annoying as crap.

Constantly....Can't get it past alignment. Raz said about 4 mins in the start up tutorial...Have definitely sat there for way longer than that.

I use the TM Warthog HOTAS and my gear is set to the gear silence button so no actual switch to worry about
