That was the first track I ever did. Never done one before so I don't know how to shorten it or anything. Not positive on airspeed at takeoff. The lack of a full HUD like I'm used to isn't helpful. I'm kind of just going till it looks fast Lol I keep having to move the camera to see the IAS gauge.

Try this. Never done a track before. It's going to be towards the end obviously. Thisone.trk Is there a way to fast forward a track file? Now I'm curious and watching it...

Weight was low. F-14B with about 2200lbs of fuel left. No tanks on it and no missiles or bombs. Maybe a few hundred rounds of ammo. It was a very shallow landing at low speed. Definitely not a situation to blow the tires.
-
Every time I land my gear ends up in the ground. It's not a popped tire cause it's all 3 on the wheels. If I start rolling, it shoots sparks as you can see bellow. Any idea on how to fix that?

Yeah. ED has 6 trigger zones in the area to remove the trees. This is the mission. I've kinda tweaked it but I didn't design it. A-10C2 - CSAR.miz
-
Yeah, sorry. Remove scenery then it asks mask object and you can select all or just trees. This screen shot is what I am on at the exact moment. All of those trees down below shouldn't be there according to the trigger

I know there is posts about this but it still isn't working. I'm doing the A-10CII CSAR mission. I noticed that trees are supposed to be removed the F-16 crash site...Yeah, they're not. I've even changed the trigger to ONCE- Time More Than 5 secs- Mask ALL. No matter what, still trees. It's causing the Blackhawks to crash because the trees are still there.

There are 2 altitudes to mess with. The actual altitude of the aircraft and the altitude to bomb at. The bombing altitude can be changed under the advanced way point options. I don't know they upper limits for bombing runs on AI planes. I've heard 25-26,000 is the limit but haven't tested it. It's kinda key for the inbound way point. You need to make it miles away so there's room for the AI to open the doors and drop within normal JDAM parameters.

As promised...Like I said, 4 Bones just bombing the fuzz out of the airfield. Might have to press F2 a bunch of times to get to the B-1's, but it's still cool. Very short little "mission" but you'll get a chuckle out of it. B-1B Carpet Bomb.miz

LOL Slightly obese sheep...Love it! Our favorite terms were, only Army bird that could have a mid-air collision with itself and 2 palm trees f*ing in a dumpster.

Yeah. I'll post it tonight with what I have it at now. It's on the Nevada map so you do need that. Right now I have it with all B-1B's. One is dropping 84 JDAMS and 3 other B-1's are carpet bombing the buildings. It will slow down when they all hit just due to graphics. It slows down on my RTX3090! It's cool though. It got a good laugh out of it. I'll post it tonight when I get home from work.
-
Yeah, pretty sure it's from the Military Aircraft Mod. Carpet bombed the crap out of a runway, it was awesome. Carpet bombing is actually a choice for tasks to perform.
-
I saw the carpet bombing and was able to do that with dumb bombs. Doesn't work the same with JDAMs. I kinda figured it out. I have to set a bomb point on each target. That's 84 points since I changed it to a B-1B from the original B-2 I started with...Lots of clicking.
-
And a way to make them ACTUALLY HIT THE TARGET! Holy crap is this guy off....
-
This is mostly a goof off thing for my kids. I have a B-1B armed with all GBU-38's. I have about 52 targets on the ground. I'm trying to get it to smack all of them and can't figure out how. It just seems to drop ALL the JDAMs in one spot! One big hole Lol Also, is there a way to make the vehicles not move when the bombing starts? I have them set to HOLD and disperse under fire is OFF. It was? Nice. Definitely didn't look for it Lol Real world, a couple of Hooks with full robbie tanks will land. A couple more hooks with personnel and equipment. Set up a FARP. Then tear it down when empty. Crazy. Would not mind simulating that at all.

The -60 is actually more difficult to fly. It's one of the only birds that's full IFR rated. Yes, without SAS, it's a pain. Been on several flights with new pilots and they disengage SAS1, SAS2, trim, FPS, and boost for EP training. Very bumpy ride. It just makes it more difficult. Once you're in the air and have speed, it's fine. Landing is a pain in the ass though. A lot of it might be alignment. If you're in trim when landing and have any cross wind, you'll be landing croaked. You'll hit with lateral movement, due to being in trim, and you're bird will want to correct instantly to the direction you're in trim. That could definitely cause a dynamic roll over. Maintain in trim until just prior to touchdown then brind it to runway alignment. This is all from real aircraft and real life experience. I served as a Blackhawk crewchief for a little over 12 years. I am intimately familiar with the aircraft.

So, with the Hook being dropped now, any chance that ED will make the Fat Cow available to be used with the invisible FARP? Set up a random FARP in Syria, Sinai, or the Afghan map when that drops.
